The tuning box iz available only for turbo diesels ...
Not for natarully aspirated ones ..
Go to www.psi-motorsport.com for details and also if u need to talk to someone regarding this please call Mr Peter on 9895088444... He is the owner of Pete's India ...
I had the tuning box fitted on my E class and man there is a noticeable difference ...
Even before you realise u have hit 4500 rpm and it time for the triptronic to shift to the next gear ... Infact it hits the 4500 mark so fast that you feel the auto gear shifting is slow ....
Specially in the 3rd and the 4th the car feels like u in 2nd gear ...
I hit the 100kmph mark is no time at all ... Havent really timed it but I am extremely thrilled with the performance...
Will put in a detailed report later after timing ..

I think it has to be an diesel EFI type system for it to work. Wont work on Safaris and Scorpios(non CRD)

Dear Guys

I am really sorry. i was without internet for a few days and I am sorry I couldn't get back to all your questions.

Ok here they are.

We dont carry the units for any of the Indian made cars like the tata's or scorpios. We do the units only for the TURBO DIESEL cars with ECU's. To be very specific in India the cars available are the Mercs CDi's, the Hyundai's CRDI and the Skoda Octavia 1.9TD.

The Accent, Elantra, Tucson, Viva and Terracan can all be fitted with this unit. So can the C, E M classes in the merc. Also all the BMW and AUDI. They are all TURBO DIESEL.
Regarding fitting you guys needn't worry because it is a direct plug on unit, ie: there is no cutting, taping, crimping or anything of that sort. You just need to plug it in. Any DIY can do it.

V-16, I have send you a mail regarding your enquiry. We do have it but I need confirmation of your engine tech details.

And guys we carry the units for most of the cars found outside. Any specific car enquiries and we can get it for you in 3 weeks time ofcourse with the usual 2 year warranty.

Please feel free to ask if you guys have anymore doubts.

And EVO6 great to know you are happy. You are going to be happier when you get the unit fixed on your Skoda on wednesday.

HAVE FUN GUYS,

Peter
