At-home Car Polishing Service?

Do we have any equivalent company/ guys in chennai. my NHC is about to be two years old and would like to birghten it up

Yes, the name was Korea Sunshine. IIRC the pamphlet only mentioned an annual membership and not one-time service charges.

He charged around 748/- for innova and i guess he would charge 100/- rs less if its for swift/getz. For Zen etc. small cars it might be still 50/ rs less.

Its cheap as far as cost goes and good service as far as quality goes thats what i can see based on my previous experience. there are car polishing guys who charge 3500/- rs but result is 10% better but not worth for the money we pay.

Since i know mohan i thought of trying him this time he is good. I will soon load few pictures.

For all those in the Delhi NCR region, you have a similar alternative.

Not someone who would come home and do it, but it is done at a mall.

There is a car washing service done at Ambience Mall Gurgaon. So they clean your car while you shop. The rates are as follows

1. External Cleaning: Rs 175 (Includes washing, shampooing, waxing, tyre shining, wheel cleaning)

2. External and Interior: Rs 750
(Includes all the above + interior upholstery cleaning, waxing, vaccuming etc)

It is done by a private company in the nasement of the mall (basement 2). You can see them, they wear yellow uniforms and is completely done by ladies. And very professional

Have you or anybody else on Team-BHP got it done?

The prices are quite reasonable. Are they same for hatch/sedan?

Is it as good as so called "drycleaning" of upholstery?

Want to get my Civic cleaned desperately.

I spoke to Saurabh as well and he quoted 500 bucks for a single job and 750 including dry-cleaning.

Are you sure you got a quote of 300 bucks for your Santro?

Just got my Black CR-V polished by Glix2000 (Kolkata). The polishers (3 people) came to my home and polished the car. Took them over 5.5 hrs!

But the car's body is now shining like a black mirror. Even the light coloured interior is good as new. The car did not look this good even when it was brand new.

Highly recommended.

I got it 3 months back but 500 for all is an average price, not expensive. Do tell us how the experience was.

By the way, when I got the call I checked their website. It was a proper one unlike some commodity website today.
