hey speedy the ghat road in on the left side of the 6 lane road from cbd belapur to kharghar..it starts as soon as u enter the 6 lane road to kharghar..i went around 3 ,4 kms inwards and did a u and came back...and also i have heard that its quite scenic on the top ,also the road was smooth ,full of curves and bankings and the best part full empty.

correction...the new shortcut ghat to taloja and the parsik hill tat n.c was talking about are the same as the ghat is on the parsik hill. didnt know it was called parsik hill even though i see it daily from my flat window, my apologies

hey H_F,

the "ghat" u mentioned in kharghar doesnt lead anywhere. It is a dead end at top. Its about 5kms to the end. But its a trip worth taking. Gives a beautiful view of navi mumbai and surroundings. The ghat lands will soon be sold as private plots, so do the trip before the stuff is commercialised. ALso, be careful and drive slow, as many people go there for morning/evening walks.

There is a short cut to taloja, but it is limited to two wheeleers as of now. If you take the straight road from Utsav chowk (kharghar) towards Pandav Kada (Kopra water fall) you will reach the Tata Research centre. This road leads to Taloja.
