Awesome car you got there Vivek.
I think the Camry and the Lexus have the same platform.
The rear lights reming me of corolla. The design.
Love the interiors though.

Thanks Lamborghini.. Yes. The Camry and the ES300 Share a lot of their genes. But the ES has a lot of stuff that the Camry lacks (in terms of interiors and electronics).
A fully loaded Camry would be comparable to a base ES300.

But still a Lexus is a Lexus right?

Yup but i hate it when people buy a Toyota and rebadge it a Lexus.
I saw one on the expressway with all the Lexus badgings but under the hood, as it was banged was some part with TOYOTA carved on it.
The Lexus has much much better interiors.
Heck the corollas interiors feel richer then the Camry's.
How about a review.

Dude, do you happen to live in Rochester Hills (near M59) by any chance? Those apartments look too familiar.

Toyota themselves do it. In Japan, Lexus brand does not exist therefore the following Lexi are badged as Toyotas.
LS430 => Toyota Celsior
GS430 => Totota Aristo
IS300 => Toyota Altezza

Close... Pretty Close
It's on Rochester Road. Exit 67 Off I-75. Troy, MI.
Close (about 3 miles north) to M-59 though. The place is called "Eagles Landing of Troy"

you sure know your Michigan

Thanks all for the kind words.. I love her. Its all stock.. Here's a brief description.
The interiors were a major deciding factor when I bought her.. Black Leather all around (all seats and doors), Polished Maple-wood trims on the dashboard and center console, maple wood inserts on the doors. Eight-way power seats in the front. The driver's seat has two-programmable memory presets for seat position. (Those are the small buttons next to the door handle).
Six-CD In-dash changer. Eight-speaker Mark-Levinson sound system. Dual-zone climate control w Auto. Auto Dimming rear-view mirror with built in Compass. Trip-Computer with Instantaneous/average fuel consumption + other information. etc.. etc.. Whew

Here's another pic of the console... Had just got her back from servicing, so there's a lousy paper mat near the pedals.

And yeah... That's a Duck on the dashboard

Well Vivek,
Indeed that the right deciding factor ...
If the interiors arent plush enuf then there is no fun driving a car ..
Should give the feel of luxury ... Like in someone's Laps
