Hey Guys,

I am planning to remap my S-Cross 1.3 DDIS from Pete's Dealer in Mumbai. I spoke to him over the phone and he tells me that there would be 25% increase in the BHP output. Though there are many examples of ECU Remap on a 1.3L DDIS engine since it is common for Swift which is stock 75 bhp, but there aren't any examples at least in Mumbai where an ECU has been remapped on S-Cross 1.3. The S-Cross stock is 89 bhp (its already tuned by Nexa for higher output on the same engine). I am just concerned about the bump in BHP for an already tuned engine. Also, how do they check the final BHP after tuning to prove that the remap has worked?. Thanks in advance for your inputs.

It would be worth noting that when I asked the dealer for contacts of people who have done such remaps, he couldn't really direct me to anyone. Instead, he referred me to speak to BHP.
