We have a few recommended accessories shops in our TBHP directory and you can approach any of these guys.
The prices if not same are around the figures

3003 --> 6/7k
3000 --> checked with a dude in office he claimed to have paid 9k.
4000 --> 14k

Get clamps made like mine or go for the option I posted here (Additional Lights for the Scorpio).

What brand are these? Hellas I presume.
Are they HIDs? I m not really interested in HIDs if I can get other options. I ve seen too many people install and them remove HIDs for various reasons.

HIDs are not sold by hella in india officially. Even if they do then they'd start from 50k a pair. Go for rallye 4000 driving lights. genuine distributors price is ~9k*2. they come with 55w and should be enough. you could upgrade to 90/100 if at all you need more.

some lower series hid are available but not the best your money can buy

Re: Additional Lights for the Scorpio

My default headlights have become very poor [8yrs old, scorpio turbo]. The glasses and reflectors are a bit yellowish. I'm looking at changing them. Are the new scorpio headlights better than the older ones in terms of light throw etc? Or should I go for anything else outside of M&M?

TIA!

Re: Additional Lights for the Scorpio

The head bulb threading too had gone. So eventually replaced with the new Scorpio lights.

Hi Riju are they Hella Rallye 3003?. May I know where in bangalore you got them installed. Iam looking for a similar setup. Plz help me with the contact details. Also how much did they cost.
Setup Iam looking for is -
Hella Rallye 3003 (Ref 37.5).
12v
Phillips Rally 100w H1 bulbs.
On Bull bar between the head lamps. I have a Mahindra bull bar in my scorpio.

Iam currently running with 130/100 H4 and I do not want to screw my stock reflectors. Will get back to 100/90 after my Hella setup.

I got it installed like 5 years back from Satya who owns Evo. His contact details are here under the tbhp dealer directory : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/bangal...bangalore.html.

As for the costs, I vaguely remember paying around 7k or so for the pair. I suggest you give him a call and have a word with him.

Been on a similar setup for the last 5 years. Haven't had any problems with the reflectors loosing it's sheen.

Got the quote from (Evo) Satya for Hella setup
1) Hella Rallye 3003 ECE ref 37.5 with Chrome Ring finish - Rs.14,000
2) Clamps and Wiring - Rs.3500 to Rs.3800

Sounds little costlier when compared to my other quotes
1) Top Choice, Sarjapur - Rs.9000 including lamps, clamps, wiring and fitment.
2) Ozone Enterprises, Indiranagar - Rs.8500 for lamps, Rs.3000 for clamps, wiring and fitment.
3) Pit Stop - Rs.11000 including lamps, clamps, wiring and fitment.

That's pretty steep man. Go with the cheapest option. I remember I paid about 1500 for the clamps + around 1k for the wiring and the lights about 7k. But everything worked out under 10k. This was like 5 years back though and the prices might have gone up.

I suggest you look at getting the Rallye 4000's if the price difference isn't too much.
