Starting a new thread as I feel this is a significant launch deserving its own thread.
Royal Enfield unveiled the TBTS 500 today, with refreshed styling.

To be honest, it looks a bit like the TBTS 350 and Bajaj Avenger had an illegal love child. But I like it nevertheless!

Absolutely!!!

Not just the styling part, some of the features!!! I never expected them form RE:
1. Rear diskbreak
2. Split seat
3. LED tail lamp
4. 55w head light
5. 20 LITERS FUEL TANK

RE Purists may baulk at this , but I , as someone who has never owned an RE before, loved it. Wish the rear grab handle was chrome though..
It would be in the region of 1.5+L ex-showroom surely.

Wow !! today is my day , just today morning had commented in Mobike's ownership thread about TBTS 500 and Voila it's unveiled today .. I am lining up for this bike for sure . my guess on price - Rs.1.6-1.7 ex showroom @ hyd.

. 500cc motor was long overdue for this one IMHO. Good move RE.

Great Move. I am seriously contemplating this one now. But how are they going to manage the production. already there is a huge waiting period.

Having owned a classic 500, I would surely love to ride the 500cc EFI again

I like it. I will definitely consider it for my next bike, despite the half chain-guard. But since the chain seems to be on the other side, it should be ok for saree clad, side-saddle pillion riders.

195 kgs-ewww-thats heavy.
Since classic is already 1.5L ex-showroom,this one is should be 1.7 to 1.8 ex shwroom,that means down south it will cross 2L on road

Enfields have gone expensive for sure.
