Well, the owner was a friend of a friend, so he told me i could use it for a couple of weeks and then decide. The RD was fun but needed too much work, it had rusted quite a bit , the oil pump was completely missing, and tons of other stuff, so i decided to give it back and get a better condition RD a little later on.
Still plan on getting an RD sometime.

Okk....now i guess its time for me to put up the "bike" i ride... a Scooty (hey, learnt on a Sunny back when i was in 7th.... so Scooty is better!) apart from that, my good ol' bicycle. Learnt biking on a Splendour...
Definitely planning for an upgrade and soon.... For myself a bike, Bullet rules my heart, but, my folks not really convinced with the Bullet, and also replacement for the Scooty with say a Dio or Activa. Not confirmed as yet but plans are still on.

Ohh yeah, if maintainence wasn't reeeeeaally a problem, then the RD350 would do really nice.

My First Bike -

RoadKing - 250cc - Ideal Jawa - Mysore. - Classic Marron/Red.

Second Bike - I still ride during weekends -

Bullet - 1978 model - Black - had fitted 'Rocket silencers' but now back to normal silencers. My wife rides it - Start and the parking is the problem for her. But riding is of no issue .

well, guys, i'm a diehard engine fanatic; it don't matter if it's on 2 wheels, 4 wheels, or no wheels (jet engines, boats, aircraft....).

but, i do love cars a li'l more than bikes (it used to be the opposite before)....nevertheless, i do love ripping on two wheels-when i'm not rippin' on four wheels; heh, heh...

well, here's the list of my sets of wheels...

1) rajdoot 175 (3-speed); long time back-my dad got one from the office just for the heck of it....
2) hh splendor-black--- ( learnt to ride-alone-on this one...and modded-used to give me just 45 kmpl and topped at 102 km/h, on the speedo!!)
3) hh cbz-silver
4) bajaj pulsar 180-silver--(old SWB, non-dts-i,)
5) bajaj pulsar 180 dts-i -black--(currently owned,non- exhaust-tec)
6) jawa yezdi 250 classic -black-- (currently owned; but the bike's in my native place, kerala, rusting away in my grandpa's house...)

the first four are no longer in my stables; all were good machines, though; my current steed is the 180 dts-i, which i was about to replace with the karizma, but didn't, cause the bajaj had more performance. also, news is on the anvil that 250cc+ twin cylinder bikes from yamaha, bajaj, etc are being launched this year, so i'm waiting......

dream bikes: kawasaki ninja zx-12R, and the Y2K; the Y2K is one helluva machine- the fastest production bike in the world (don't count the tomahawk-it isn't a bike, no matter what anybody says. it has the viper's 8000cc engine, and has 4 wheels-technically-for crying out loud!!!).
the Y2K has a top speed of 250mph-that's right, a potent 400 kmph!!! and plus, is one of the most nouvel bikes around, with a turbine jet engine; and guess what- the fastest bike in the world runs on diesel, not petrol!!!

the bike idles at 20,000 rpm, and has a rev limit of 250,000!! i hope i get a chance to ride this machine someday.......

well,
i have ridden a lot of bike but owned very few:
1. 98-00 had a kinetic honda.white.this was in my puc days.
2. 00-02 had a lightening.the most powerful indian production bike.535cc. did quite a bit of work on it and could whup any modded rx with it. sold it to buy a car..but then decided against the car.
3. 02-03 instea of teh car got myself an rd350. dream come true. wanted one since i was 12 thats when i got my first ride on an rd350. freaked out on it for a year. had disc brakes and was a high torque. had quite a few rides which i will remember to the end. sold it when i finished college.
4. 03--till date have a kintec honda.black.
