cheers: Good! So things might actually work out,and the bike that hits the roads ought to have atleast 95% of whats been spoken about so far.
It'll be fun to see more of the 125 and the new Ninja 250 on the roads!

Bro, its definitely got to be packed with 22bhp else how will it manage a 0-100 under 9sec?

Wow. Looks like I have to eat my words. This is a hot bike with many world class features like LC, twin discs, EFI, 4V, perimeter frame. I fail to understand how Yamaha can give all this for 80K.

Also this looks like an all new bike which is not similar to either the Vi-xion or the R125. A unique bike for India....now we are talking.

Are twin discs confirmed? A single disc is enough for a bike with this amount of power. Twin front discs ala larger capacity sportbikes would be good for looks only and will increase weight at the front wheel, when similar braking performance can be achieved with a single disc.

I too am skeptical of the alleged price. Yes, Yamaha have their backs to the walls but can they give so much for so little? Perhaps this bike will recalibrate the equation as to what amount of performance we get for our money.

PS: 20 BHP might be good but it is still a 150 cc motor, very little torque. But this will raise the heat on competetion for sure.

All I can say is there is no replacement for displacement

Am just sick of the same 125-150 haggle and when there is something close to 200 our jaws drop?

Let me put it this way .... we might be sick of 125-150 but that's because we are looking at 10-14bhp. How about a 20+ bhp bike doing a 0-100 in 9.3 seconds or so (Speculation although). We can leave the displacement behind in that case. What say ?
