Bajaj to launch Ninja 250 and KTM Duke

i think this thing is goin offtopic now. anyways i think i would love to buy the ninja 250 if bajaj can keep the cost below 2L. or else i will sadly have to switch on to a R15 from my existing pulsar around next feb...

Sorry to burst the hype 'n' bubble, but the Ninja will not be launched this year. Confirmed news from a couple of Bajaj guys. Could take upto Q1 of FY 09'. That's if they go ahead with the launch.

Primary reason being that the 09' Ninja 250 is going to be very different from the 08' Ninja technically, and the '08 Ninja has already stopped production elsewhere.....

The good news though, is that Bajaj is seriously looking at SKD's for big bikes. But Yamaha might be the first to launch an SKD litre class in 09.....Hint: No, it's not going to be the R1 or MT-01. Or the Mad Max.

Todays business standard had news of kawasaki ninja launch on 5 oct, bookings start just ahead of diwali . The pricing mentioned 1.5-2 Lakh !
