I don't think the makeshift headlamp will be that effective as a OEM would. |
Maybe if he's going on slow speeds.

There are lots of these contraptions in bangalore ! Also don't be surprised when the cool dude riding it pulls up a wheelie in crowded traffic ! |
OT: Yes I have seen this. That too at night, with a pillion and in not so scarse traffic. Frankly speaking, I get my heart in my mouth when one pull a wheely in think traffic that too for quite a distance. Don't these guys have someone waiting at home ?
Ok Got em pics.
These are some snaps taken 3 years back.
I had been to nana peth (Pune)
to get something fixed on my bike.
I enquired about bikes being modified to look like
R1s and Hayabusas. He pulled out an album
and I took some snaps of the snaps in the album.
Some of them were supposedly HH passions and
CBZs. Let see some experts identify them.
Thats not the point though. Some mods are
cool and some have bad finish and taste.
Charges: 25K to 40K.
Frankly speaking except for the Busa the others look well executed.
First one, that is the red and white CBR, is a Pulsar from the looks of the clutch cover. The mods looks quite good compared to other similarly modded bikes. But something should be done about the disproportionate tyres!! The front tyres on some bikes look really out of place.

Yes, it even has the Bajaj logo! In the same picture, the kick pedal seems to have been covered by the fairing.

The above statement will hold true untill caught by a cop. They will surely slap a heavy fine and demand for an authority letter of approval of the modifications installed. Such mods are dangerous unless they come OEM, of course they wouldn't be mods then.
EDIT: I was told one of them is a HH Passion. Wonder which one.

I'm not sure if what you're saying is true. Why would the cops slap a fine for a modification?
I might be wrong but i'm hearing this for the first time. Do you know of any such case which has happened in the past?

How is it possible that the rules are different in the capital and that too it being the most sensitive area in terms of imported vehicles.
