Found this on the net. The best way to describe this pic is "IT HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA."

Re: Weird, Wacky & Dangerous Motorcycle Modifications!

This is weird and wacky but in a 'wicked' sense. Just came across on a forum, a V12 (!) Honda CBX designed and created by a gentleman named Andreas Georgeades.

The engine is basically 4 banks of 3 cylinders each, and I can only imagine the insanity of the bhp and torque numbers on this one.

A video of this bike under construction is at :

Looks like a Kinetic Honda to me. Whatever it is, it is a great innovation that happens in India's minor garages. Wonder what were they thinking while making something like this.

It's a Bajaj Sunny. With all those heavy add-ons, I'm wondering if it would at least get moving!

Re: Weird, Wacky & Dangerous Motorcycle Modifications!

A R15fied TVS starcity , whether it turns heads or not, im pretty sure it would turn a R15 owner's head towards it . Sorry for the bad quality pic , i took it while moving.

It is turbine powered using a Pratt & Whitney helicopter engine.

The engine is a two spool design which uses a compressor/turbine wheel to create the exhaust gas.
The gas is fed into the second turbine which supplies the power to the rear wheel.

With the bike stopped, the gas generator continues to run but the power turbine is not rotating.
With the brakes released the power turbine begins to turn and away it goes.
There is no need for a transmission and you can see the direct drive from the power turbine output shaft going to the rear wheel.

There are two huge exhaust pipes, one on each side.

The high pitched whine of a gas turbine is very obvious when it is running and the smell of burning Jet Fuel blankets the area when he pulls in to park.
I personally feel this bike shouldnt be in this thread , this is a unique work of great technology by very great people and few owned by very very great people . This is a collectors masterpiece . It definitely should not be in this thread
