The bike defenitly looks like built for some track purpose. Otherwise, he is going to have a sore bum sitting on that fiberglass seat in city/long rides

The yamaha is a very serious bike , Quick release throttle , drag tyres , rear sets , fibre body and tank and
can somebody comment on the block and the head , doesn't look like a stock one.

Thanks

The top of the head has been chopped off for weight saving reasons.

Thanks SunnyBoi ,

The block looked significantly bigger to me.

that is most probably a track/drag bike, tires are skinny to reduce rolling friction, skinny tires are used in accordance with the weight it carries, so you wont see such tires on a track spec r1 .

That indeed is a bike modded for Drag Races. Seen a couple of those at the Deccan Drag Race too often.

The Yamaha is not a wacky mod job.It is drag prepped bike.Bike seems stripped etc because they are trying to reduce weight. Tires are thin for less friction. Even the handlebar and seating position is such to make the bike as aerodynamic i could say as possible.

Pic of a FZ-16 and Gladiator mated to each other, looks neat though.
Note the exhaust, instrument cluster, wheels and the rear suspension among many things.
Spotted in Pondicherry.

@//M, It's not even gladi, seems a libero / G5 to me. Though very neat job. He should have got mags instead of spokes.

Agree.. Looks more like a libero modded to look like FZ16. Very neatly done mod job and is not wacky atleast. And yes mags instead of spokes would have been deceiving to the untrained eyes.

IMO, someone with a Libero G5 crashed it up really bad, and had an option to change the cycle parts...so chose to go for the FZ parts. Although i am not too sure how the mounting works out. Finished beautifully.

Here's a pic of a Bull i saw at Marwe beach, Mumbai the other night. Sorry about the sad quality of the pic, but notice the mirror. It is a bar-end mirror that Bull-lovers keep looking for. And our man here has gone ahead and taken all the trouble to fit it on a standard mirror mount.

SAD!

Here is a Karizma i spotted. Had K&N filters. But i found the yoshimura exhaust wierd on it. How come a bike that is not even in the entry level of the superbike segment having a yoshimura as its end can? i wonder some serious mod has been done to the machine.

(Please excuse for the pic quality since it's my mob cam pic)

I spied this at a bike brokers place! Apparently, the guy sold it off within a week of completing the mods.
