Congrats on your new ride. I believe this is the first new 220 on T-BHP. Do post a more detailed review once you run her in. My only grouse is that the new 220 looks like the old one. I believe Bajaj should have changed the styling on the new one so that it stands apart.

Good Caomparison between R15 and P220.I feel P220 could dowith more fairing on the engine part.

This is the carburetor one, right? They have done away with Fuel Injection and have gained about an HP of power. They have also reduced price over the previous FI model. Is it this model?

Yes, it is the carb model. More power and reduced pricing compared to FI.

The FI model is also sold by Bajaj.

Hehe. Masking done by the dealer itself ! Gave me a MH03 instead of a 02. Few more days to get my final no.

Just got rid of the saree guard and main stand today. Main stand was just too low.

I think the FI model is history now. The website for DTS-Fi has been removed from the Bajaj Auto website.

@ Vikas.

Congratulations buddy. that was the quickest i have heard about someone buying a bike, i liked the way you compared the R15 to the P220, you covered almost all the points. After the run-in let us know how well she handles compared to the R15.

Ride safe.

82 on road is VERY competitive. Thats only a few thousand more than a carbed RTR180 and the P220 seems like a very attractive package for that price point.
