After I had turned 18 and got my DL, I started driving my dad's first car. It was a grey colored MS WagonR VXi that he had bought in April 2012. The car had seen 20k kilometers on the ODO in the last 8 years! It was post the 8th year service that i had started to drive it and covered more than 10k km in it. In the last 10 years, the car had taken us on multiple road trips, ranging from the Mumbai-Pune expressway drives to Mumbai-Konkan ghat drives. The car had not seen any kind of detailing on it till date. The only love that it got in terms of cleaning was from the building's washer guys and from MS service center. The interior, though in good condition, had started to show it's age. After doing a Mumbai-Konkan trip for Ganesh Utsav, I started searching on the forum about the best car detailing services near me, when I got to know about this shop. All the praises that this shop had recieved on the forum made it an irresistible deal. I quickly googled the shop's name, and called them. The phone was picked by Mr. Mangesh, a very genuine guy. I think, I don't need to introduce him as a lot has been discussed about him on this thread. Due to Ganesh Utsav, got a appointment after 4 days. The night before the appointment, got a reminder call from Mr. Mangesh, and upon being asked, told him that I would be at his shop by 10am. Next day, when I reached the location, Mr. Mangesh quickly greeted me, explained me the whole process and in no time, the work had begun on the car. I had chosen only the Interior cleaning pack as the rains had not yet stopped in Mumbai. The service costed 1500 bucks and took 4hrs to complete.





The cleaning bay space was neat and tidy. I was also offered tea/coffee as soon as I arrived at the shop but politely declined it and asked for a glass of water.



After entering the office space, my attention was grabbed by these two slogans. Humorous way of conveying the message.





The seating space at the office was decent enough. Waited there for like 30mins before leaving the shop. In the mean time, also had a chat with Mr. Preetesh, who works there. A very knowledgeable and polite guy, just like Mr. Mangesh.

There were few faint stains that were still there but, upon enquiring, was told that those stains, after being present in the car for so long, had become sort of permanent. And rest were the scratches that looked like while stains. All in all, I am quite satisfied with the work that Mr. Mangesh and his team had put in the work. Would be taking my car their for the exterior and engine bay detailing after the rains in Mumbai end. I was also suggested to replace the plastic mattings and flooring with the 7D mats as it was, in some sorts, damaging the interior and had become yellow. I didn't know that it had such harmful effects on the interior. Good to know that from the team and would be doing that soon.

Well, there's one moment, that's still stuck in my head. When me n my parents reached there, my dad was in a bit hurry as we had to attend a family function. After taking a quick glance, he was happy enough and offered Mr. Preetesh to pay for the services, while me and my mom were doing a detailed check in the car. Mr. Preetesh told my dad that there's no hurry and requested him to check out the car first and be fully satisfied before making the payment. This shows the customer centric nature that Maxshine team has towards their clients. Would definitely recommend this shop to my fellow T-Bhpians.

Here’s a short review of 4 cars receiving much needed love and car from Team Maxshine.

The detailing appointment for the Elantra was long overdue but kept getting delayed due to one thing or another. After a recent dent and paint job which happened due to an Ola cab ramming into my car at a Red stop, I decided to finally call Mangesh and book an appointment. My friends also wanted to get their cars detailed inside and out from a professional outfit and decided to join in. So the 4 of us decided to drive to Thane on a Saturday morning, enjoy some Misal Pav at Mamledar and get all the cars detailed by afternoon. Checked with Mangesh for the available slots and he said he could accommodate 2 cars each on Saturday & Sunday. That meant we would have to split up and put a dampener on our plans. Nevertheless, we went ahead and decided to get 2 cars done on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. Later came to know from Mangesh which really surprised me that even though they have 10 people working, they are able to complete only 2 cars by afternoon and another 3 by the end of the day, hence he couldn’t have started on all 4 cars in the morning.

We got a full interior/exterior detail done on a total of 4 cars:

Saturday – 2022 VW Taigun & 2017 VW Vento
Sunday – 2009 Honda Accord V6 & 2017 Hyundai Elantra

The team at Maxshine are really at the top of their game, leaving almost no room for complaints. They know exactly what they can deliver and will not make any false promise for any specific request. Overall we all were very happy with the job done and its absolutely bang for buck. Although none of us opted for Ceramic coating, their rates for the same are quite tempting.

Off topic: The Misal Pav at Mamledar isn't what it used to be, found the Thambi outlet near Maxshine to be a better option for snacks.

As usual Mangesh, Pritesh and team did not disappoint with the detailing job. They sure know how to retain an existing customer with world class customer service. Guys who stay on the western suburbs will be thrilled to know, they have opened a branch at Bandra. Mr. Mangesh personally handles the activities at the new outlet.
