Re: BMW 320d & 328i (F30) : Official Review

Below is my understanding of your requirements:

1. Daily usage of 50 kms in city
2. Should be RWD/AWD
3. Doesn’t need great long distance touring capabilities
4. 50-60 lakhs budget
5. Should be faast

Based on this, why not BYD seal AWD? Seems like a perfect fit..

I would welcome any suggestions. Thanks a ton!
I would suggest getting a Mini. Get a lightly used one. An actual hot hatch with a relatively small footprint, enough british (well, german) horses to potter around town and spread it's legs freely on the highway, the perfect go kart with more than enough safety features to keep anyone happy and safe, and cheap?(maybe)

Well I suggest look into it. Maybe you'll like it. Maybe not.

Cheers!

!
I also am the custodian of one

1: It is fun on smooth curvy roads

2: It is a bit tiring to drive in traffic - it is chewing at the bit all the time! The horses aren't pottering, they are rearing

3: The ride is a little jittery even with Tubeless Tyres

Don't get me wrong, its fun but only on the open smooth curvy roads!

Re: BMW 320d & 328i (F30) : Official Review

Can someone help me with the engine code for the 328i 2011 model, I am looking at picking up one but want to make sure of what are the typical issues that could crop up with a 14 year old German.

The 328i from 2011 (E90) with engine code N52B30 (3.0 naturally aspirated straight six) was not sold in India.

However we did get the 328i manufactured from 2012 onwards (F30), bearing engine code N20B20 (2.0 turbo in-line 4).

Well I'm only 17 so i wouldnt know how it feels to drive a Mini in traffic or with tubeless tyres on smooth curvy roads, but people online claim it is fun, and the small footprint and 3 digit horsepower figures on paper make it a perfect car, so that's why I decided to join in the car consultancy bandwagon.

Cheers!

Its fun but its tiring at times! Best when the road is clear and curvy. I have a set of keys and an open invitation to take it whenever I want but I only take it for an airport run at night occassionally.
