The Euro Car of the Year website actually does not have the Ecosport in the initial list of 30. Only Ford vehicle present in the list is the Kuga. Not sure if the Indian auto blog website got the numbers wrong. |

Let me give you my honest feedback.Firstly it will take a perfect idiot to topple the car as moto mariner rightly said he knew when the car is starting to loose control. The car gives an excellent feed back on behaviour and its limitations, now tell me how is it possible to topple such a car? Like all cars ecosport has its limitations. How do we expect it to behave like a submarine in water,Ferrari on good roads and Toyota land cruiser on broken roads. Please understand the dynamics of the car and then drive it accordingly. IMHO toppling, water getting inside the engine and tyre side wall bulges /damages are all user/driver errors |

OBD-II is standard for all the cars after nineties. The tool and software are generic, it works on almost all cars. You just have to find your OBD-II port, which will be accessible distance from drivers seat, plugin the device, and you must be good to go. |

Another instance of a ford ecosport toppling but from what i was told it seems like another case of driver error rather than anything to do with the car itself. Supposedly a bend was being negotiated at 100+ speed when the car went offroad and landed on the roof. Left suspension has been completely destroyed. |

You can get them easily on ebay for 1k. On aliexpress they are cheaper and are available with a on/off button (Remember OBD scanners use battery when car is off too). The app is Torque pro and is terrific, i've been using it for months. |
