The white strip looks a bit too flashy and prominent for my liking.

Nothing that a good sticker job could not achieve.

I was thinking of buying the car first and then get a good paint job done by the experts at Tata to change the white ceramic strip at the rear to Grey exactly the one which is for Calgary White and i guess same Grey color is the roof for dual tone variant. I am hoping against hope that Tata will be willing to accept my request.

Posting for those interested. I have no commercial interests with the company.

Caught up with fellow Nexonites for lunch, an hours drive from Bangalore city. There are seven now in my close inner circle - enjoying glitch free rides. Looks like Tata got it right this time.

Parked side by side in a sequence makes them look even more pleasing to the eyes but surprisingly none of your friends has a dual tone variant. Had that been there it would had helped me even better by choosing the color for my Nexon. Since you already have checked out all the colors which color do you feel is the best among all and i feel certain colors really make the car look bigger than usual due to color illusion. How about single tone Red and the Grey color variant. Single tone Red or dual tone Red, which looks better?what is your take on that. Cheers!

Here is my color preference after seeing all colors on road

Grey>Dual tone red>white>dual tone blue>single tone red>silver>single tone blue

I spotted single tone red the most!

I was also in the same dilemma. I chose the grey color mainly because it makes the vehicle look bigger than the red and blue. (My personal view)

I had seen the dual tone blue, single shade blue, single shade red and white color before choosing the grey.

Recently the Nexon was on display at my office along with the Hexa. When I was checking it out, found that clutch pedal obstructs the shoe when the foot is placed on the dead pedal. This may become cumbersome.

Blue - Dual Tone looks the best. Maintenance wise - white and silver is great. If youre looking at presence - I personally like Glasgow Grey, but needs a lot of patience to maintain, being a dark colour (But I'm managing fine thanks only to a daily regime). Not a fan of this current shade of Red, sorry.

I checked the Grey color myself and i really liked it personally but as i mentioned in previous posts Grey is a dirt and dust magnet, no matter how much you clean the car the color will still attract dust which will be more visible on this color compared to others. Also i feel the black body cladding along the sides as well as rear will not be more pronounced to give it a SUV stance due to darker shade of Grey used on the Nexon body. To make it even more difficult for me the white ceramic at the rear looks in your face type on this color. Would you mind sharing some exterior pics of your Nexon from different angels so that it gives me a better idea before i choose the color. These are my personal views so far about the Grey color though many might not agree with me.:thumbs up

Yesterday, very strangely I spotted more Nexons than I have seen before collectively. Felt good that it is doing good sales numbers.

While color choice is a very preference, I would strongly recommend a dual tone shade. That really enhances the looks of the Nexon. The single-tone options make it look like an oversized hatch (IMHO).

The best Nexon that I saw was a white colored one - in which the owner had wrapped the roof to a dark shade of gray. It looked very neat, specially with the light gray ceramic portion (not too gaudy) which comes on the white Nexon.

My 2c.

Big thanks to one of my birdies for sending this information in!

Tata Motors is reportedly gearing up to provide an optional 1-DIN Blaupunkt music system for the Nexon XE (base) variant as an OEM accessory/fitment. The XE variant was not offered with an infotainment system since the Nexon's launch.

The Blaupunkt music system in question will be of 2 types - one with integrated Bluetooth and one without. The system will be provided with separate speakers and will support AM/FM, MP3/WMA, front USB slot, front Aux-In slot, 4 Equaliser sound presets (Rock/Pop/Classic/X-Bass) and are rated for 4x50W of max power each through 2-channel Preamp outs.

In addition, the Bluetooth-equipped system will have an MSD card slot, a built-in microphone + a rear connector.

While the BT-equipped system will be priced at Rs 15,999/-, the non-BT music system will be priced at Rs 12,317/-, both including GST.

Thanks for the scoop. However, the system looks horrible after fitment in the dash and is expensive. And BTW who buys the XE variant?
