Newly launched Summer Apex model has 360 camera. This is a welcome addition. If one buys a ventilated seat 'jugad' solution then most crucial features are covered.

Missing points- (Useless) panoramic roof
Hybrid, Diesel & Turbo Petrol engines

Largely complete package. definitely no comparision for Creta / Seltos top models which are also 15-20% more expensive.

Till date Honda India hasn't been able to confirm if this 360 degree camera can be retro fitted into the existing cars. I have mailed them as well as called customer care and they don't have clarity as to whether this accessory can be made available for the existing cars. The dealer too doesn't have a clue.

Though they have been widely advertising it, they aren't ready to provide a concrete answer to this.

I asked my dealer Landmark who sold me the Elevate regarding Summer Apex edition, he mentioned that the camera and modifications are coming with V variant only, just to sell the pending stocks. It won't be available as an accessory.

Looks like Updated/Facelifted Elevate might be around the corner by end of 2025.

Dont think so. Honda has a habit of releasing facelift only after 5 years in the recent past. Can't see new Elevate till 2027 at least. Good for buyers also.

The reason I don't like Kia, you buy a Kia car on Monday and they would release a new facelift by Friday.

If true then good since speed in executing changes is not something Honda is known for.

No harm if they adapt and take corrective action. Facelift wont entail major sheet-metal work changes and other capex intensive modifications.

With the ENGINE, they are still old school in their approach. Same 1.5 NA Engine on offer in Elevate which was being sold 10-15 yrs back. However, with the inclusion of ADAS, Honda has forgot to offer the old-school Cruise control in their cars. Only ADAS version gets the Cruise Control (Adaptive). However not sure what their R & D team has done to their variant lineup? They have forgot the old school Cruise control feature and wiped it off completely in their cars. Did anyone notice this? Same is the issue with City Variants and Elevate Variants now.

Both City and Elevate's V and VX variants do not have a simple Cruise Control? Why would anyone pay 17 lakhs on-road for such a vehicle in 2025?
I owned a 2014 City V in the past and it was an amazing car. Altough I sold it off few yrs back. In 2014, Honda City itself used to sell for more than 7500 cars per month. But now, Honda's complete lineup of cars is not able to sell more than 3500 cars per month ! The Difference in sales no.s is huge.

Honda Elevate sees lowest monthly sales in April: 935 units

Launched 20 months ago, the petrol-engined Elevate did well to bring Honda back into the ‘game’ the company was missing out for long with only two sedans on sale. However, in India’s ultra-competitive midsize SUV market bristling with rivals which offer plenty more in terms of features and powertrains, the Elevate has been found falling short. The Elevate’s export story is a huge success story though.

Elevate doesn't seem to be paying off for HONDA on the domestic front, but exports have been hogging the limelight.
