Hi,

Folks in Gurgaon can you please tell the best service centre of Honda in Gurgaon. I can see Prestige Honda in Sec 34 & other in Sec 14. Need info on which has better accidental repairs staff.

My Elevate met with an accident & need to give the car for repairs.

Thanks.

I have used Ring Road Honda whenever I had a big repair to fix. Their garage is in Sector 18.

They fixed my 2009 Honda City after a minor accident. And my 2021 Honda city after a tractor in the wrong lane clipped my front bumper off clean.

I have been generally satisfied with their work. If your car has zero dep then go to a dealer.

Although, I have realised that for most minor repairs, you are better off going to an independent with no insurance claim needed. Most of the time, they will fix the issue cheaper than the out-of-pocket expense on an insurance claim. And much quicker.

The front does look like a Rolls :) BLACK EDITION is truly regal

After buying Honda Elevate in Jan. 2025, I had health related issues and that had to be taken care of. Hence, after buying and till about end of March 2025, I hardly drove the car except to the Doctor's office and other errands. From Jan. 2025 till March end, I drove totally close to about 600 kms.

However, by the grace of God, the medical treatment got done by Feb. end and in March recuperated and in the 1st week of April we planned to trip to Baroda - a distance of about 350 kms. from Indore.

This report is about the key observations made during the drive:

We left Indore at about 9:15 am. and earlier in the day filled up the tank in full and also checked the tyre pressure. Set it up 32 for the front tyres and 33 for the back.

We took the road from Indore via Pithampur, Sardarpur, Jhabua before crossing over to Gujarat. At Jhabua, there is a Madhya Pradesh Tourism "Midway Treat" where we had a tea break halt. And then at Godhra had a lunch break at Hotel Maroon.

During this drive, tested many of the features of the car. Till this trip, the average mileage was about 9.2 kmpl. But we hit the highway, it steadily climbed and in no time the mileage was showing at 12.00 kmpl and then to 14.00 kmpl.

Also tested the various ADAS functions specifically the :

Even if citiies, CMBS used to give out audio and visual warnings but won't enforce anything. But when the ACC is on, then the fun starts. ACC, on its own, works absolutely fine - maintains the speed, can hear the iVTec engine throbbing and revving up but no going above the set speed.

But, when it senses a vehicle, it starts slowing down and especially so, and to me a big surprise, when the ADAS camera detects a 2 wheeler ahead - it starts slowing down way two fast and the ADAS camera appears to observe things / objects on a straight line ahead and not as the car is turning. So, if there is a curve ahead and ahead of you but on a turn, there is a 2 wheeler (especially) on the other lane but appears to be on a straight line, then the vehicle starts slowing down considerably. Whereas comparatively, if there is a 4 wheeler, the slowing down is not so fast and so abrupt. May be Honda can look at this and make some changes. It would also be great if other Honda Elevate / Amaze owners can share their experiences.

Lane Assist works fine but once the mechanism is on, when the driver tries to change the lane, the Car's system starts protesting! It does change but then there is lot of feedback from the system.

The 1500 cc engine drives effortlessly and small to medium holes on the roads are handled with aplomb. The CVT works exceedingly well - and almost all the time I was on D mode and travelled at an average speed of about 80 kmph. While going, the mileage on an average was about 15.00 km to a litre and after coming back to Indore - on a full tank basis - the fuel efficiency was about 14.5 kmpl. This after 1st service.

The Air conditioner (I keep the temperature mostly at about 27 or 27.5 degrees. At times at 26 degrees) works extremely well - the outside temperature was hovering around 40 deg - wasn't felt at all - one of the excellent ACs in a vehicle - am told that the at the rear also it was very comfortable cooling that was happening. However, I feel that in a vehicle like Honda Elevate, instead of having Sun Roof, the A/c can be placed on the rook that also will free up space in the rear.

Another suggestion, to have an extended driver side hand rest. The current one, at the best is useless. At least provide a moveable one.

The road conditions in MP were very good except for short distances. In Gujarat, the roads are made of Concrete and are smooth. From Kalol to Vadodara is a pain - with traffic and with so many rumbler speedbreakers. They are supposed to be rumblers but almost of the size of an individual speed breaker - 2 wheeler drivers will have tough time negotiating these.

Hence while returning we took a deviation where the road runs all along the Narmada Canal till Godhra bypassing the bad roads of Halol / Kalol.

Moderators: If you think that this post should be posted under some other heading, please do so. Thanks!

City owner here :)

Yes, the ACC accelerates and decelerates aggressively. I haven't noticed if 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers have different impacts on the ACC. But just a tip, if you already not keeping this setting- keep the ACC distance to the lowest. The button is on the steering wheel. If kept at larger distances then the car starts braking quite early.
Also, I agree that the ADAS detects vehicles in straight line and doesn't account for the curve or the turn you are making. So be careful while turning in congested lanes. Keeping the speed slow and giving some steering input is the key. Basically make the system think that you are maneuvering the car actively.

Just use the turn signals while changing lanes. That is the correct practice.
Lane assist will also let you change the lanes without any feedback in that case.

Also agree that the AC is a chiller even in the high 40 degree environment. When parked in hot sun when temperatures are as high as 45 degrees, it takes 10-15 minutes to cool down the cabin and thereafter it can chill you to the bone.

Non- sliding armrest is a bummer. I miss it very much in my car. I have ordered an arm rest from amazon. Will see it that helps in long drives or not.

Thanks.

One point that I would like to make here: The writing coming from an experienced and knowledgeable Motor Enthusiast like you - was an absolute delight to read!!

Will respond in detail!

!

Amazing read. Congratulations on completing this long drive. Glad to see someone from Indore here. From where did you purchase your Elevate? I also purchased my Elevate ZX MT from Landmark recently.

My next question is, would you be able to suggest a good place to get some aftermarket accessories such as Dash Cam etc in Indore.

Landmark Honda are the dealers. The other dealer, Abhikaran Honda - did not show any initiative or interest in talking about the vehicle. It was getting to be a drag.

Dashcam - I bought it directly from Landmark - brand is Landmark but I guess I made a wrong choice. After sometime will replace it. I haven't put any other accessories yet - other than mudguard and floor mats - which I got it online.

I might add the following:

1. Scruff Plate
2. Rubber beadings on the doors
3. Visors
4. Will check on adding ventilated seat covers.

Thanks for the compliments! Feel free to post your questions. I have ZX CVT.

I kind of agree to this. The Landmark Sales Manager did every effort to sell the car. He even allowed me to do 3rd party PDI at his yard and visited to my office too if anything is required. I opted for BH Series since I'm a banker and they were able to provide the number/plate/RC within 3 4 days of delivery.

Coming to the accessories part, thankfully I skipped Landmark dashcam. I found it overpriced.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding the Dashcam. I'll also look for alternatives.

I got cheaper and better 7D mats from outside . The dealer provided normal mats costing around 3000 weren't that good.

I think, Honda's accessories are bit overpriced and would be better to get from outside.

The same happened to me at Magnum, electronic city.

Sales guys barely show interest. They just hop in for a joyride with you (And sit mute), so you don't drive away with the car.

Honda sells because it is a Honda.

Gave the lady who had called for 'follow up', a piece of my mind.

Perfectly put.

I have been using Honda vehicles since 1988 - first it was Kinetic Honda - that served well for 11 years. Didn't have to change anything other than battery. And gave a mileage of 45 to 48 consistently.

Then in 2011, bought Honda Jazz X that served me extremely well till recently. So as you put, the name Honda carries with it certain values.

Had a good experience with the Magnum Honda Kanakapura road, where i recently bought my Elevate ZX CVT. The salesman walked the extra mile to make the deal happen, came home to complete the formalities and ensured the deal was closed within the timeframe i wanted to and delivered it on the day and time I wanted.

.

No offence but I have a different view. During Test Drives I only focus on NVH, visibility & dynamics.

I actually ask the executive not to talk (& distract me).
We do however talk at length post the drive.

Last month went on a road trip to goa to see the avian life in my elevate. Left mumbai at 5am and took the following route to and fro -
Chembur - Khopoli - Pali- Sangameswar- sakharpa- Rajapur - goa
The trip took about 11 hours with 3-4 stops.

Roads throughout were excellent especially the state highway ones except for few bad patches on nh66. Drove at ease hovering at 75-90kmph speed depending on the traffic and road curves etc. most of the state highway is a single lane and with lots of curves and turns so had to be careful. There were a few stretches on nh66 where roads were flat and crossed 120kmph after which the car starts beeping continuously. The beep itself is a big distraction so had to slow down. The car is rock solid even at 125kmph. There were quite a few unmarked speed bumps on which I did miss 3 of them at high speed with huge jerk. I thought after such an impact probably there would be some damage to the suspension but to my surprise car is butter smooth and suspensions are still soft with no rattling noise. The car gave me an average of 15kmpl for the entire trip. We had a wonderful trip spotting more than 45 species of birds in their natural habitat. We were lucky to spot slender loris - a primate and all three species of hornbill’s in goa. This trip was super good and driving on open roads with a sturdy and reliable car was joyful!
To my surprise after this road trip the car is giving slightly better average of 0.5kmpl for my daily commute in the city. So far I’ve clocked 13900kms since my purchase in July 2024.

Received this HONDA Elevate digital guide for buyers. Gives a good overview of the vehicle of what it offers along with customer experiences.

Anyone looking to buy would find it useful in my opinion before a TD.
