Hi Saket, 30kmpl on a manual (non-hybrid) City with higher specced tires is remarkable. While you have mentioned you don't hyper mile consciously, how did you manage such a high FE? Please do share.

One suggestion to you - you can have road noise dampeners fixed inside your door pads, that will significantly decrease the road noise filtering inside the cabin. This is often done for vehicles that have a lot of engine clutter / unwanted road noise. Also, post fixing the sound dampeners, the door pads can be sealed back in a nice way so that it doesn't show any signs of an additional attachment inside them.

Personally, I wouldn't go ahead with it if it risks voiding the warranty. This was definitely not my case.

Interesting! Lovely car ;). Honda is one of the very few auto makers that are making cars which look elegant and less of a hybrid/futuristic EV design in today's time. Your purchase seems VFM for your annual running. Spot on choice with the V variant!

:unhappy Cruise control on a Honda in 2025 should be standard. It's usually more efficient than even light-foot drivers when driving uphill! Doesn't even cost a lot for Honda to install one. As if stooping low on NVH and Bonnet body paint wasn't enough, they now removed Cruise.

Also, impressively, Honda has managed to grab all five stars for the Elevate (W-RV in Japan) in the recent JNCAP safety rating! I wish they'd submit for a BNCAP rating here.

I thought Honda Sensing was available in all variants except the base variant of the new Honda cars. And with Honda Sensing, Cruise control comes automatically. It is indeed a revelation that Elevate VX doesn't get it.

Thanks. Yes, I would like to do something about that issue. Have heard about after market remedies for this issue, but was not sure about their effectiveness. So, if it is comparable to C class, I would certainly go for it. Please share the details.
