Does anyone know how to pair TPMS without visiting service center?
In 3rd service they did tyre rotation,i asked them to pair but they said it will pair itself.
Its been more than a month and tpms display is showing front tyre pressure as back and back tyre pressure as front.

In the previous version of Safari there is no option to pair TPMS automatically/ at home. At the service center it is a 10 min job. They did it for me without even opening a job card.

I recently encountered a strange problem with my Tata Safari facelift's radio. Whenever I turn on my headlights, the radio reception gets significantly worse. This has never happened to me in my 25 years of driving with more than 7 other vehicles! I have attached a short video demonstrating the issue.

Just thinking how this can happen? Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?

Here is the video of the same: https://youtu.be/hZSNVZbvBKM?si=K2OMCXVDHYY06ZG8

I have seen this happening in my Safari too !! I see in my parking(ground level, good reception usually) lights come on and radio is dead , i move out of parking and lights turn off and radio starts off well, some glitches are there but its intelligible. BTW i had my LED tail strip replaced under warranty, not sure what was the behavior before! Amazed how lights can interfere with radio.

How did you know that the readings for back tyre and front tyres were mixed up? Was it just based on the image from the info centre panel?

To check whether the service guys paired the TPMS, I just released some pressure in front tyre. After that I checked the TPMS display, it showed low pressure in back tyre.

Finally someone at TATA Motors understood the mistake and corrected.

Most of the colours are now available in all variants.

This concept of "Persona" based exterior colour options was flowed and looks like conceptualized by some fresh graduate.

When a buyer of Pure Plus AT goes to showroom, and ready to pay 22 lacs, She must expect all colour options to chose, and not just white and grey.

New colors options available in Safari now as per updated brochure. Supernova Copper and Cosmic Gold are still locked to the personas and variants above those personas. I am yet to see a Safari in Supernova Copper on road in Hyderabad and none of the 3 showrooms I have talked could show me Safari in Supernova Copper that was delivered to customer in past 1 year since the facelift Safari was lauched.

I wish Tata adds red color from Harrier to Safari. The red Safari would look awesome.

I own a Harrier and I face the same issue. As soon as I enter my car parking (it's on ground level) the radio reception conks off as the auto headlamps turn on. I have also noticed the radio reception going for a toss when I travekl under a bridge. Overall not happy with the radio reception.

The 14.18 (For Harrier) update was supposed to fix the radio reception glitch but unfortunately it does not help as post the update whatever stations I used to get in the city also now drops.

I have not faced issues with the auto headlamps coming on in my facelift Harrier but whenever I enter my office basement parking, basement or on the roads the radio reception is very bad. I use either USB or Amazon Music via Bluetooth most of the time.

Thanks. It's only Amazon Music playing in my Harrier. No radio for me too.

A couple of days back, I got a call from my car dealer about a software update for Lane Keep Assist (LKA). I went to the service centre today and got the update. The new version is 15.18. The service guy said that a manual for the feature is yet to arrive and I'll get a call when it comes. But he was able to give me a small 4-fold pamphlet that explains the LKA feature.

Review of GFX Lifelong mats for Tata Safari 2023

I purchased the GFX lifelong mats designed for the 2023 Safari (7 seater AT) recently for 7K INR from a local accessory shop in Bangalore. Part No. is GLLM-081A.

It came in 4 pieces - Driver, co-driver, 2nd row and 3rd row.

Have mixed feelings about it. It is above average but not as good as its reputation. The material is harder than I expected. I was expecting it to feel like sturdy rubber but it feels like hard plastic. Driver side fit is OK. One issue is that the dead pedal coverage is inadequate. Should have been higher to cover entire foot. Also, the mat's edge over the dead pedal is too sharp. I felt it will cut through the factory fitted rug over time and so put a thin layer of card board underneath.

The best fit is on the co-driver side. No complains there.

2nd row fit is not good on the right edge and makes me say "GFX, you had only one job!". They are supposed to do laser mapping of the foot well for accuracy so beats me how they screwed it up (see the image below).

Haven't scrutinized the 3rd row fit because I don't use it (3rd row seats are always kept folded). But I remember during installation, it seemed fine.

Another issue is that the mats are not scratch resistant. With just 1 month of usage, the shine on areas of contact have mostly gone. Wet wash does not restore the blackness because of the surface scratches. Hope I have reasonable expectations, after all these do not come cheap! I can somewhat restore the shine with a dashboard polish but the downside is that it makes them a bit slippery.

Protecting factory fitted rug with a card board layer:

Poor fitting on the right side edge of second row:

Fitting of Left side edge in second row is perfect:

Another angle showing the poor fitting on the right side edge of second row. It might not look as bad in the images but trust me, it will be an eye sore when you see yourself:

Co-driver fitting is the best IMHO:

This is how the second row looks overall (decent fit if I ignore the right edge issue):

Note:
I later noticed that these mats are available for just 5.5K INR on zapcart.in. I don't have any experience with zapcart but have seen mostly positive comments about it on TBHP.

I got from zapcart few months ago. It’s genuine. Though with exact same observations as yours. Still much better than usual mats.
For the problem of middle mat, I made small cuts on floor carpet and pushed that part of carpet in carefully. That made middle row mat fit better on right side.

@abhishek, can you please post a picture? I want to see how you have concealed the wire in the area where A pillar, dashboard and door pad meets. I could not find a way to make the wire out of sight in that area.

Hey apologize for the delay. I seem to have missed your reply during the Diwali break. I looked at how the wire was concealed between the A pillar and dashboard and realized that I simply put the wire under the floor mat at that place. I did ensure that the wire is as close to the glovebox as possible so that anyone putting weight while getting in or out does not damage the wire.

Since I rarely have a co-passenger (wifey and kids are at the back always), this works well for me.

Can you pls share a pic that is not from an angle from the top, but with the camera placed right in front of the number plate? I don't see any problem with the way the number plate is fixed from this pic. Also, the radar and the camera (behind the IRVM) work in tandem to deliver complete functionality.

Hey, apologies for delayed response, was really tied up all this while. Here's the pic from the front. However, as I mentioned earlier as well, have seen a lot of Safaris with this kind of installation. 2023 Tata Safari Facelift Review-car-pic.jpg
