MX3 PAT is artificially priced.lower as compared to other petrol variants to try to compete in the mainstream mid size SUV segment. It is a loaded variant for 14.99 lalhs. This situation may not last long, so.you might want to consider that as aspect as well.

No CEAT dealer in Palakkad or Coimbatore had it.

Even Mahindra service centres didn’t stock them.

I even explored switching to MRF tyres for the stepney. Though the MRF website lists the tyre, none of the local dealers stocked it either. The service manager at Mahindra’s Mundur branch promised to help source it from somewhere. In the meantime, the CEAT dealer from Palakkad called and said he is sourcing it from his Bangalore circle and will deliver it by Thursday, one day prior to me making the trip. Hopefully that materializes.
.
Sorry to hear about this ordeal.

If you are still looking for tyre replacement, try https://tyresnmore.com. It is showing availability in Bangalore (and Chennai). You can check if they can deliver in your city.

When my Creta tyre went kaput, I wasn't able to find same brand and specs tyre anywhere near my place in Bangalore, including service center and brand dealers. These guys were able to home deliver (and install) within a couple of hours.

The alloys are Fuel Vectors in 17 inches and I haven't used spacers.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Took a test drive of both the top end P AT and top end Diesel Manual.

The Diesel Manual made me doubt if this was the car for me, but the Petrol AT nailed it, drove so smooth and silent, light steering at slow speeds made the city drive easy.

The Petrol AT is actually pleasurable to drive , some judder on bad roads but not a deal breaker at all. This is a different kind of fun compared to the sedans like Verna/Virtus, but fun it is. High seating position, grand view, powerfull engine, smooth drive, bossy looks, I am sold...

I am consodering the MX3 P AT. Price looks like this (havent bargained yet)
Ex-showroom ₹ 14,99,000
TCS ₹ 14,990
Insurance (1yr own damage, 3yr 3rd party damage, engine protection, consumables) ₹ 1,09,914
Extended warranty 4th and 5th year ₹ 34,999
Accessories ₹ 50,000
RSA ₹ 2,021
Fastag ₹ 600
Registration ₹ 2,57,980

Total ₹ 19,68,005

1. Looking to get the top end car alloys. Would the same be availble for 18" tyres
2. Can the seat covers be changed without messing up the air bags? Will this void warranty? Can we upgrade to Mocha seat covers from the showroom?
3. Can anyone from Hyderabad suggest a good acessories place for Thar Roxx.. Nothing major, just basic stuff

The insurance premium I paid for my AX7L 4X4 AT was Rs.105503/- with all add on's. 1 yr OD + 3 yr TP. Bargain and get the premium reduced.

Would you mind sharing where you got it from, and what the alloys cost you?
also has the ride been affected?

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Looks like I can’t catch a break, something keeps happening to my cars. The crack went from a minor one to this big in front of me in no time. If I go for a windshield replacement, is there any film or anything that can protect from future stone chips? Or should I leave it as it is?

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

The Thar just returned from its maiden journey to the Himalayas (to Kalga and back). Here is some eye-candy.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Guys, the insurance quoted is a ridiculous 1.09 lac for the MX3 P AT. Should the OTR price be finalized before booking or bargaining after allocation will do?

Please generate a quote from the same company online for new car. Negotiate with the dealer and if they don't match buy it online. My AX7 4x4 insurance from Tata AIG costed me 58K only with all possible options selected. Self-pay is 2K per claim.

Hey, I am not sure about the vehicle number, but I think I saw your Thar outside Off Limits. I was in a grey Ecosport, parked opposite you. Even I went to Kalga from Mumbai!

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Hi, is it possible to install a 360 degrees camera on AX5L? Has anyone done it? That is the only thing I miss from the AX7L. Will Mahindra ASS do it?

If I check online 3 Year OD + 3 Year TP insurance from ICICI is available for about 99K which sounds reasonable. Dealership quoted me 95K for 1 Year OD + 2 year TP
