Not at all. When I say mine is MX3, which doesn't come with the alloys. And I never opt for these alloys because they are too shiny. But you keep saying I fixed it These pictures are not mine. Please always try to read the above few posts for clarity. When I am quoting someone, try to read his post first.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Has anyone successfully installed any direct-fitment 18" alloys apart from the OEMs?

Congratulations and it looks very imposing in black.

Can you please provide details about the glass tint? My understanding is that all tints are illegal.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Added wheel lock nuts to all 4 wheels and the spare today. It’s a Mahindra OEM part and costed me 5200. A good addition if you park at trekking bases or hill stations where stealing alloys is a normal thing.

I have purchased the wheel locking nuts from Farad India, for all my cars(at different times, per the acquisition timing). Thar Roxx kit costed me 4800.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

I got a call from the Dealership informing me that a car has been allotted. However, I decided to hold and asked him to check if it is coming with the request sensor. He confirmed that it is March manufactured. Will post the update back once the car reaches the dealership. Most likely the allotment will get passed on to someone in the queue though.

I don't think I have seen any Thar Roxx with request sensors, except the one they made for John. I went for PDI during last week of March and did see quite a few AX7Ls in there, all manufactured in March and none of them had request sensors. I saw some of "Mocha Grey" interiors as well, it is not very white as it was earlier, but still would need some effort to maintain it dirt-free.

Not entirely true. The issue with the earlier white interior of the Roxx was the nature of the material used which was very soft leatherette and prone to sticking dirt.

The new “mocha grey” is the same material as my XUV700 and owning the same, I can vouch that it’s very easy to maintain. My XUV700 seats still look new 2+ years on.

I bought the Roxx this week with the new Mocha grey interior. I drove 300km on Friday and had zero issue with back pain and lumbar support was good. The sales person mentioned that they have made firmer cushion for the seat, but I can’t validate it obviously. Hope this helps.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Friends, FYI - I bought Carlinkit mini dongle and wireless CarPlay is working like a charm. As soon as my phone enters the car, wireless CarPlay is on the offer. Haven’t tested it for long cycles but for short distances up to ~1 hr, didn’t face any disconnections or lags.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

My close friend has a Thar Roxx which has less than 10,000 KMS on the odo. He is facing a pressure leak problem in the engine. Service centre in Hyderabad failed to solve the problem. Car is completely stranded now with engine check light. He posted this video with full details.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

I have a friend who bought an Alturas G4 second hand. The first owner had experienced a bad engine failure. He had forced Mahindra to change the complete engine.

The engines may not be the same but this is completely unacceptable.

During PDI, these are the lights that remain on when the car is turned on. These go away only when the engine is turned on (except the middle bright circle). Is this normal?

Did you receive the update through OTA? I didn’t hear any customers getting OTA updates for Roxx yet and most of the folks here updated through service Centers and hence the question.
Maybe you can try a reboot infotainment and if that doesn’t fix it, can try the system restore to factory default. The second option will reset the settings to factory and reboot it, you will lose all personalization and device details. So, use it with caution

Is the Dealership PDI is done already? I would suggest you ask Dealer to complete their PDI and then check it before confirming the billing. Could be that the car is still in transport mode.

Thanks for the recommendation - my car doesnt have connectivity so OTA cannot be done [was done at the service centre]

Figured, the system accepted a local "AMAZON BASIC" cable & the CarPlay got working.

Apparently there is also some recall for rubber cap on Electronic Power Steering which is being put in place by Mahindra
