Every Other Classic you and Your Brother seem to have!! Only that most need to be Restored!! You need a better and more organised person at the garage though.
So in 10/15 Years from now we will Have Youll beating Pranlal and Mallya in the collection of Vintage and Classics. Good. Keep going, Dont give up!!

i currently own 12 cars uncle. out of which four cars are restored and four are being restored. the others are awaiting their turn. currently have a few cars that are being restored for others. i have a good person at the garage and am very happy with him. we have also shifted two locations after your visit to the garage. please do visit sometime .
not looking at beating anyone uncle just want to have a few cars that can be managed. if something rare or a good marque comes our way then we buy.
thank you uncle with your blessings and everyones good wishes we hope to keep going and never stop. i follow my school motto "NEVER GIVE IN"

Hi,
Thanx a lot for the good words.I changed the engine becuse the matador engine in the car was in bad shape and plus it is not the right one to be in the car. After searching around I located the 5 cylinder unit from a car that got rear ended. The car runs much better ... a lot more smoother.
Yes Karlos the beetle is mine .... the love of my life. Its a 1968 , 1300 .I picked it up about four years back.Took about eight months to get in back in shape. In the process I changed the engine to a 1600 cc unit (it was gifted to me by previous owner of the car ).Now it runs quite well.I will post a few pics soon.
Keep up the good work guys

Was about to say that! Btw, gogi, aren't these 'semi compacts' rarer than the other MB saloons of that era??

Absolutely. These have now become hard to get cars. I have offered upto 1.75 for a car in good condition but with a diesel swap and the moron wanted 4L. Now you tell me!! There are a few rotting away for a lot less but unless one can see them personally one really cant say. Also the spares of these cars are really rare to come by in India. Lights, pattis etc will be a tough job. This was a regal car and it had attitude. I am on the lookout for one.
