Well, not much more to tell actually. Its being rebuilt in Lower Parel. No idea about the owner. Looks like its going to take a long time to restore though.

Any idea what year this could be? Looks like a '70's?

Edit: Started a new thread on classic Porsche's

I think it's a 1972 911 2.4L. Because of the flap behind the right door for the oil tank. Also looks like wider Fuchs wheels, but they came standard only on the 'S.' The Ts and the Es came with pressed steel wheels, but you can always put these later on. But the space for foglights puzzles me. Maybe it is the 'S.'

RT, did you see wood or veneer on the dashboard?

The interior pic is up. That's about as much as I could make out given the layers of dust and grime on it. Don't think that's wood. Did the 911 ever come with wood on the dash? Never recall seeing one like that from the factory.

Can hardly make out anything from the pic, was hoping you had a better look.
Well they came with wood on the dashboard, even the steering wheel sometimes.

this porsche looks fantastic , i remember it , it was featured in business motoring some months. I wonder are there any classic 911's in our country , my fav 911 is the 70's 911 2.7 RS simply stunning also the most sought after

till a few years ago you could import pretty much anything by paying the requisite duties. Now the car has to be rhd, homologated etc. Also, if im not mistaken, second hand cars arent allowed which rules out vintage and classics. At the same time, there are still a couple of loopholes like transfer of residence, the hotel busness and my personal favorite, a 60s jag imported by the owner of a college as a demonstrative piece for his students!
