now thats a beautiful car and it looks complete but i couldn't see the wiper on the windshield otherwise the car looks to be in a showroom condition

Not a bad idea considering the market value of a 356A/B these days..Speedsters cost nearly 50% more than coupes..

On second thought..its nice to see connoisseurs spending money and time on things that deserve it...all i have to say is "LUCKY RELATIVES"..

Was'nt the 356 part o fthe VCCCI rally? Ive seen it in town many a times. Spanking condition. I was told it was bought to Bombay a few years ago in the present, restored condition from London.

Yup, she did frequent this and last years rally scene. The owner imported in from the UK around 10 years back.

this is dubash's ex car the 911 bought by the textile guy it was in preety bad shape.
the owner of the 356 flies down a tuner before each rally and lives in south bombay

can we have any hopes of his car getting restored,is it even capable of getting restored??(i mean it must be very expensive)is the present owner interested in restoring it or is it just going to rot??

amatmo the current owner is very passionate about his cars. no expense is going to be spared to restore it to glory. work is currently going on on the car. its been a year now so i guess the car is not in the condition shown in the photo.

Actually I took that photo in April this year (2007), so there is still a long way to go. But yes, they did say they were restoring her.

the car was bought in 2006 august. the owner had the ferrari done first couse that had less work and then came to turn of the porsche. all the parts, rubbers etc were already bought. so i guess alot of work must be completed rtech

I had seen a Red Porsche around 60's model rusting somewhere in Andheri. :(
