Not missing. From 1981 or so only the Deluxe Model came factory fitted with the Centre pieces. This Centre piece, 5 dial Dashboard, Double Carpeting and plusher upholstery were the differentiating feature of Deluxe.

Many use to pit this piece as an after market

Exactly. I've never seen a real one except in the brochure.

I'm watching lot of 80s Malayalam movies these days that shows lot of Ambassadors, Fiats, Standards and other vintage beauties.

KET 4050 Mark 4 from Malayalam movies Oru CBI Diary Kurippu (1988), Jagratha (1989) and Kottayam Kunjachan (1990) starring Mammotty. I heard this car belonged to a film producer.

This car belongs to the person who produced all the above mentioned movies-Aroma Mani. His other cars like the Toyota Corolla station wagon KEV7079,a white w123 200D and the 87model model blue maruti kbv4600 were featured in many of his movies
