Fiat 1100 Club - Bangalore [FCB]

Fiat 1100 Club, Bangalore- Discussion meet Tomorrow at 3:30 PM in Cubbon Park, Central Library Parking lot - All the club members will be meeting tomorrow to discuss on the Second Rally to be held on 9th Aug. Interested members are Welcome.

I'm not a member of the Bangalore chapter of the Fiat Club, but anyway went to meet up with Boeuff, Arun1100, Sujith1100, and other members. The highlight was the unveiling of Sujith's modded Padmini, and here's some pics of the event:

Shyam...we need to start an Italian Automobile club soon in Hyderabad.We both have Italian Lambrettas and Fiats.How do we do this? Its been my dream project in Hyderabad/

I must say the Bangalore club has the funkiest Fiats I have seen. Chaka Chak. keep it up guys. Do encourage the classic car enthusiasts too. Its a good thing to have a mix of both the funky and Traditional. All the Best. Beouff I just love the colour of your car.

Actually the meet was for discussion on the 9th Aug rally that we are planning and for the members to see Sujith's Fiat( Silver with blue strip) after resto-modification. We did not expect members to bring their cars, but interestingly the Fiats too turned up. Hope all the members turn up on the 9th Aug rally day.

I have bought a Select 1960, the necessary paper work and basic repairs are being taken care of by my father to ship her here. Once in Bangy it will grace the Club meets.

That's great news! I was asking Sujith same thing...any members owning Elegant, Select, Super Select, Millicento? The Club had invited some older Fiat owners to join, but most of them are hesitant about attending rallies and meets. Sure hope to see your Select in that line of Fiats shortly!

One 1961 Model Super Select is for Sale in Bangalore. The body line is good enough for restoration and has almost all original fittings except for the wheel caps. The engine of the car is removed and kept in the hood. The engine seems to have some major problem. The price quoted for it is around 25k. Please pour in some suggestions on the car.

Nice car pick it up, fiat engines are easy to overhaul, parts are easily available. You may even find a good used engine.

BTW, it surely is a Super Select but then maybe the year you mentioned is incorrect. Could be a 1962 onward model.
However, very nice and restorable car.
Do go for it.
Lots of potential to make it OH REE G NAL!
