May term it as a bad habit which can be avoided with better coordination, concentration, and a fair (if not deeper) understanding of the mechanics of driving. Further disadvantages but not limited to fuel wastage, loss of torque and a worn clutch assembly. The earlier your friend learns, the more he will enjoy his driving with granular control over the situation. Quote:
