For Bangalore airport (BIAL), currently what are the best options for pre-booked cabs for airport drop ?
KSTDC/Meru/Any other options ?

Meru has never let me down. Especially when the booking was for early morning.

I don't know the threshold. In my case cab booking is in the checklist I execute on the day prior.

My guess is that previous day booking is just fine in that it gives them time to plan capacity.

OK spoke too soon. Had a booking for this morning (the big 6-seater vehicle). When I checked at 5.45 the booking was nowhere to be found. The link in the confirmation SMS said this:

My guess is that driver assigned couldn't prove vaccination status, so they silently cancelled.

Had to drive myself to the airport because it was too late to think of plan B.

Their app goes all the way 1 month ahead.

Their website was acting weird both on desktop and mobile so could not complete the booking. I had to install and use the app, it worked well. Since I booked 2 days in advance, got an sms confirmation immediately after booking and then 30 minutes prior to scheduled ride, got an sms with driver details and tracking link.

Chennai Airport Cab Services

Asking for an incoming foreign visitor: Do the cab companies at Chennai airport accept card payment?

I don't remember. I've always got cash anyway. And I've advised them to use ATM or FX service inside airport to get cash at least for first couple of days anyway.

But hey, I promised them I'd enquire.

The prepaid cab counter at the Domestic Arrivals does. No clue about the International Terminal.

Adding something positive about Air India. My parents and grand mother just took round trip with them on BOM_CCU_GAU sector. All flights were on time and in one case even before time by almost 20 minutes. Food served was good and the service was courteous. My grandmother had a booked wheel chair and was taken good care by the staff on all the 4 flights.

I booked an Indigo ticket on cleartrip for a flight a few hours from now at 6:25 pm but I haven't received a PNR. I should receive my PNR at 3:10 pm as per below but I'm worried if this will get confirmed or not. Has anyone been in this situation ? Cleartrip support is practically non-existent.

An update on this. I raised this to cleartrip on twitter and I got the PNR in about an hour. They were quite quick to respond.

Their voice support is automated and was no use in my case. They have no mail support.

Need help on connecting flights at JFK:

Scenario: Landing at Terminal 1, international flight. Next domestic flight departs from Terminal 4 (separate PNR). What is the best option to change the terminals?

It is stipulated that clearing immigration and customs would be necessary at T1, and checked-in bags would have to carried to T4 departure, where they would be checked in again. A long-enough gap between the arrival and departure would be necessary (>4hours).
