What is the condition of the ghat section from Sagar to Honnavar?

Sagar to Honnavar is around 90kms.

First 30kms from Sagar to Jog bridge is good. Next 30 kms is Ghat section with the road being narrower. Last 30 kms is a breeze to drive.

In actual you will get approximately 30kms of ghat section road with some potholes on this stretch.

Has anyone travelled to Bhatkal from Jog Falls recently? Want to know the road conditions. Thanks in advance.

The route I am talking about is Bhatkal - Siddapura - Soraba Highway.

Kargal road to Jog is usually good. From Jog there are multiple options. You can do Siddapur-Soraba or you can also do : Sagar-Anandpura - Shikaripur-Honnali-Malebennur-Harihar. (You cross the river at Honnali)

I travelled in this route just about couple of months back. Overall, the road is in very good condition. However, you might get some potholes near Aralagodu but wouldn't be of much issue.
