I'm complaining too

The earlier one was much better than this. Was faster too.

If you guys need I can upload the ipa file for the older version, as I'm still using the earlier one. Will stick with the iOS 6 version till iOS 7 ver gets updated.

I know you are on the Apple software but will that same thing work for Android?

I need the older version too.

Sorry a4anurag, I have no idea about the Android OS. So can't make a comment on it.

I updated to the new version for my ipad last weekend. I find it to be more responsive than the earlier one.

I don't like cribbing about team BHP since I know the site is maintained and apps are developed in volunteer mode, and one ought not to look gift horses in the mouth. But may I make a humble request - please get rid off the terrible iPad and iPhone app based on tap talk or whatever it's called, and get back our old apps. My usage of TeamBHP has collapsed since this stuff came in last week.

I would second Hayek here. Pls bring back the old version at least for the time being if possible. The new version though is not that user friendly as it was supposed to be.

I have uploaded Team-BHP app v1.6.2, just in case anyone needs it. Here is the dropbox link to the ipa:

Instructions for Windows(Don't know about MAC)

Manually delete newer Team-BHP v3.3.6 app from idevice.
Download ipa from link provided.
Drag it to iTunes app window from windows explorer.
A Dialog box will appear asking to replace newer version with this older version, accept it and you are done.
Sync iPhone or iPad, older version Team-BHP is back!!!

Note-The app can always be updated manually from iTunes provided automatic update is turned off in idevice.

I like Hayek's kind submission about not looking "gift horses in the mouth".

Too often we crib, little realising how much someone has put in, in terms of voluntary effort.
For that, I stand contrite.

Saying this, may we please have the old application back for all iDevices?

Looks like the majority of us iUsers would be rather pleased if the old app came back and the new tapsy-tipsy-tap-app were banished into the outer darkness where there is wailing and gnashing of the teeth!

I am an Android user of the T-BHP App but as Hayek said the usage has decreased via the mobile. I am not feeling using T-BHP over the laptop rather than mobile. The Tapatalk thing is just not working for me.

@Question to all Android Users:

Any one in Android have the older version of the T-BHP App?!

I somehow like the new apps interface. But sure there are problems, when i get a new message I get a message showing some FR/Push/Pm sort of, and the app crashes if I open it.
Also while trying to reply to a thread and attaching an image today, I got a message saying I do not have permission/rights to do so. Would request if these can be looked into and rectified.

Tried this, got the phone onto the app, but when I went to login it says I am "not an administrator". Strange. Anyways, thanks for the effort.

So you can open the Older version in ur phone? But then can't login into that app. Am I right?

That is correct. It must be in lockdown of some sort.

Ok.
Though I'm not aware of the possible reason behind your problem, I have tested all the steps that I listed above myself and they worked for me including successful login. So maybe there is some temporary glitch somewhere.
