Getting this error for the first time

This is prolly a known issue with chrome. The desktop version has no issues tho'

Just downloaded this app onto my HTC One S android. It's cool!

just installed on my ipad and android phone. very useful and intuitive UI.
is there an option for having white letters on a blackground?
the better half has threatened thrice to throw the 'damn ipad' away due to the glare and i am afraid she means it.

Is there a possibility to enlarge and zoom into a picture without actually saving it on to the phone. I have an Ok sized screen, but would like to zoom in sometimes.

Nope, not possible. Mods have previously advised to save and zoom it.

This is because you are visiting the httpS:// (secure) version of the page. If you visit the http:// version, you shouldn't have any issues.

[You probably reached TBHP via google in this case eh? For some reason google has been showing the httpS version as the default result. We've already fixed this, but it will take a few days for google to reflect this change.]

Unfortunately there is no built in option for this. Here are a few workarounds that might save your iPad and your marriage

iOS
Settings > General > Accessibility > White on Black (Invert colours)

Android
LUX Auto Brightness (Paid app) : Dynamically adjusts brightness based on ambient light
Screen Filter (Free app) : Manual brightness adjustment required

(Lux is brilliant for Android. Especially if you use your phone a lot at night, it really saves your eyes!)

Hi Rehaan!

Thanks for clarifying about the https issue with crome. I get it now.

That error on the App has never surfaced after that instance. Touchwood!

The App makes like much easier when away from PC. Kudos to the great consistent effort to keep it running

Would love to see the following features being incorporated in the future versions

• Ability to trigger "You have been quoted" message, when posting from the App
• Location of the member below the handle.
• An indication to Desktop version users that the post has been made from the App
• Ability to add a pics thru' edit mode for posts made using Destop version.

The last suggestion would be of great use particularly when you want to compose a long post using the desktop version and add pics that were taken on your mobile using the App. This should avoid the necessity to upload/transfer the pics from Mobile to PC.

Right now the App allows pics to be posted only when creating a fresh post.

Hey thanks Rehaan for the great support from the Team. Nope, haven't seen them around again. Lately its been some watch tv series on Airtel tv promo for 150bucks,etc. No issues though, flipping between the posts carefully like a frigate in a mined sea.

Installed the TBhp app to my Galaxy S. The app looks cool an is pretty fast.

I would like to suggest a usablity improvement. You can have a Day Theme as its now and a Night Theme with inverted colors. i.e. Black background with grey letters to assist browsing in darkness. Now the glare is too hash for extended night time browsing thro the app.

Hi. I have installed this app on Samsung S3. I am facing an issue. While the text loads pretty quick, pictures take too much time in appearing on the screen. And if I am on a page which has lot of pictures (such as official review), few pictures do not appear at all. This happens both on 3g network and WiFi.

Any solution?

Yes I am currently using those apps for other ebook readers and webpages. The problem with those are they also take up battery and memory space.

But It would be good if the tbhp app can have the themes concept integrated so that the browsing gets easier.

Can anyone justify the advertisements at the bottom of the App ? I don't get the point in those Ads since I strongly feel this forum is not for commercialization.

Furthermore, what's worse is that they belong to the "charges apply on click category". Of late, I have't seen the advertisements but I have lost Rs. 50 on 2 occasions so far, since my finger accidentally touched the advertisement bar, and I was charged for downloading wallpapers by my service provider (Tata DoCoMo).

To run any forum and to pay the bandwidth charges advertizements are a must.

But being said that the advertizements that are coming up in the mobile app is a bit on the vulgar side.. I had noticed a few times and had to refresh the page to change the ad / close and reopen the application to remove it to avoid embrassment in public places.

The adverts that are coming through should be filtered at some point and check whether if its appropriate for the unrestricted viewing for any age groups.

I think the app developers will take care this points too in their next iteration of the app.
