Damn!

Have any of you been able to see this series? It's called "Our guy in India" and there are 2 episodes about 40 minutes long each.

On a related note, Guy will be attempting to break the motorcycle speed record in Bonneville on a Triumph

10 Reasons Why Poverty Spec Mercs Are No Good!

Hey Guys,

I've been following this guy at Auto Expert Australia for quite some time. He is honest & quite entertaining!

Beware...strong language. What he says applies here in our country too.

Re: 10 Reasons Why Poverty Spec Mercs Are No Good!

Yeah the Facts guy.
For some, he is entertaining, but for me after a couple of videos he gets under my skin.

The top 10 Mercedes Benz myths just cashes in on Benz brand power, cause AFAIK, all the German companies (rather all the European companies) suffer from the 10 myths and in some cases, like the share of volume sellers in the total percentage, suits more to Audi than Merc.
His hatred for Mercedes, or rather modern small Mercedes cars can also be seen in his other videos.

And for his 'facts' split up, car reviewers should be reviewing cars and giving a first hand report. Not spreading the specs sheet and features list and comparing them one by one, selecting the winner with the most features and price discounts.

And about his language, guess it's an Australian thing; he seems like giving forced out abuses and name calling, just for the sake of it.

And his world seems to revolve around Mazdas and Hyundai/Kia.
I love Mazdas and think they are the affordable best now from Japan from a FTD point of view, but this guy just goes on labeling any car other than Mazdas and Hyundai/Kia as money grabbers and the people who buy other brand cars are the biggest (insert choicest abuse) losers.

Don't get me wrong, am not an ardent German automobile fan, and would buy a Lexus over ze Germans. But the way he goes on about Mercedes is just... let's say in bad taste. Or maybe, he might be a heart broken fan of pre-2000 Mercs.

( His on road reviews are decent, but the studio talk in unbearable. )

Thank you for sharing this video Vivek sir. This guy has just nailed it. I am a fan of the W123/4/6 and the W140 but anything after that is so very not Benz. But finally, after 16+ years someone has given a new meaning to Benz.

He is a bit of a tosser. Still, As with any product or brand there are facts and perception. The latter is typically more important for most of us.

I'm no great MB fan, I do own a W123. And I have owned, well company lease, a C class quite some years ago. The MB brand brings up different emotions in different countries. In the USA people seem to be in awe, owning a MB was seen as pretty cool. In my home country the Netherlands most people would tell you MBs are a high quality product. But nobody wants to own one as they are associated with either being a taxi driver (most taxi's are MB, which must be saying something about reliability and depreciation) or if you are not taxi driver you are a builder. These are the two stereo types everyone associates with MB by and large.

For me MBs are there with the Volvo's and Audi's, if you need to drive 60-90k per year you cant go wrong. You will be bored driving these cars, but it could be worse.

Nurburgring lap record set by a Mini Cooper on 2 wheels!

Chinese stunt driver Yue Han created a new lap record earlier this month by covering the 20.832kms-long Nurburgring racetrack in 45:59:11 minutes.

Why is it a lap record? Because he achieved this while balancing his Mini Cooper on two wheels for the entire lap!

The 46-year old is the factory driver of the Red Bull China team.

After setting the new record, Han remarked that he has fulfilled his lifelong dream. It wasn’t easy though as the left front tyre developed an issue which made it vibrate above particular speed.

This is not the first world record set by Han in a Mini Cooper. Around two years ago, he pulled off a spectacular parking maneuver by sliding a Mini Cooper between two parked cars while leaving a gap of only eight centimeters on both sides. This record is yet to be broken.

Here's Yue Han's Guinness record for the tightest parallel parking maneuver:

Re: Pics: Accidents in India

Pulsar NS200 continues riding on its own after stunt goes wrong

There are 2 accidents in the clip. A biker from a P200NS stunt group, tried to perform a stunt on a what seems to be a public highway. The bike, after dropping its rider on the road, remained balanced and kept running on the side of the road. The person who was filming the video, in his persuit of playing a superhero, tries to stop the running bike
and found himself kissing the road.

I dont know when this stupidity will stop.
