Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

The latest Axe Ads are an insult to everything sensible. Really beats me how these ads were conceptualized, approved and made!!
'Extremely Stupid' is the word.

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

Offlate, election ads have come up.
While RaGa's ads are plain jane (I have done this and that), NaMo's ads are brilliantly presented tongue in cheek ones, yet very serious !!

I loved two of em'.
1) The bowler says out and shows a Rs.500 currency, umpire says No. Then he shows a $500 and still the umpire says No. No corruption is the message passed on then. Nice concept !!
2) Toss for a match. One captain ready. There is no captain for the other team. Another nice message passed !!

Election time ads are all about funny presentations.

PS: Am at work, so couldn't post the YouTube links.

My wifey is planning to buy a couple of shoes for herself, while her shoerack is overflowing. I was showing her this ad yesterday, with great risk of getting shoe struck!

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the new IPL ads are very irritating especially when son comes to meet his sick mom and runs saying his time has come as IPL is calling

Oh I hate this ad! I think it somehow showed poor taste - cutting the umblical cord?

And also, the new ads for Star Sports for IPL - bugging!
