From the time I started my German odyssey, I was in touch with Sam with all my queries. Right from the silliest of queries regarding learning Deutsch, to studying and living in Germany, a person of his stature and position, answering immediately to the dumbest of my queries left me speechless.

Now that I am in Germany, this news comes as a rude shock to me. I am not sure if I will sleep in peace during the upcoming days. Don't know what else to say.

SHOCKED... I am really shocked. I still remember once i started reading about the DELHI - BOMBAY drive in Nano..I was glued to. You will always be remembered SAM in our hearts. RIP ....

To say the least, I am shocked with this news.

He was amazing in his spirit: humble, down-to-earth and yet a very special human being in the way he could narrate things and communicate. I never met him personally but then you do create an image of a person through his posts and photos.

YETI(R). - RIP.

A big fan of this large hearted person who had the courage to swim against the tide and write a blog which could make anyone smile.

It was just recently that I was planning to send him a PM or question as to the best setup for ICE on the NANO, VISTA and soon to join the fleet car.

RIP buddy. Sometimes in life people touch you without being there, you were one such soul.

I will be changing my avatar image to a black flag as condolence. Thats the least I can do.

I was driving when i got the news in the afternoon and i immediately stopped the car to call and check if this was true or not ,for some mins after that i was speechless and numb. Have met Sam on a few occasions and it was always a pleasure to meet him. He definitely lived a colorful life!
May god give his family the strength to get through this tragedy.

When i saw this on fb, I didn't believed this, I was SHOCKED. Then i came to team-bhp and my eyes were fogged up.

Amazing person, Very cheerful personality. May his soul rest in peace.

May god give courage to his famliy ( specially to jenny ) to bear this loss.

I had a wish to meet him in next auto expo, Sadly it will remain a wish forever.

Though I didn't know him personally. I still find him one of the humblest and fun loving guy out here. I have personally bookmarked all his thread for such fluid and easy going writing. And whenever, I have some free time, I just relish his lucid style of writing.

I had an utmost desire to meet him, as and when I intend to go to Mumbai to visit my brother-in-law. And now my dream will never come come true. Why God Why??

Rest in peace buddy, We are all with you forever... forever and forever. You are a legend out here in TBHP.

My heartiest condolences to the family. :-((
