Sam Kapasi is NO MORE :(

Shocking! I never felt so disturbed by the demise of someone I don't know personally.

His contributions on this forum were the best ever. We will miss you Sam. RIP

I read how it happened on the team-bhp bbm group. It was really unfortunate. Really sad that he had to go away like this. I was hoping it wasn't true like many of us here.
I know him through his words and boy, he really had a way with words. Quite often when I can't sleep at night, I open his profile and go through his many pages of threads and find something from some years back to read. I recently remember reading about an old overseas trip where he had a tiff with the police there.
I've had a grin in my face whenever Sam kapasi updated any of his threads. The last thing he wrote about on tbhp was his Land Rover in August. It's very hard to believe and come to terms there won't be any more! I googled Sam kapasi and came across samkapasi.com which isn't ready as yet. He was probably working on it. I'm writing this with a lump in my throat. Never felt so bad about someone I didn't know.

Read a few of his Yetiblogs and enjoyed reading his posts. Never got the chance to interact with him, but saw him as an integral part of the forum.
May he RIP. My condolences to his family.

Even though I dont know him personally , I feel like a huge loss . He touched so many lives here and he didnot even know about it. RIP yeti , gone but not forgotten

OMG!!!! really a shocking and a sad news, not able to believe this!

few days backitself i was wondering that its been long since i came across any new travelogues from him, i can say one of the few Tbhpians whose travelogues i used to follow/read religiously and why not he made your imagination work with his words...

always felt that he was living his life to the fullest, never thought so soon a lovely journey will come to an end, life is unfair for sure :(

Deeply saddened to hear this! I've never had any personal interactions with him, but his reviews/blogs were a delight to read and will sorely be missed.

I am in complete disbelief. May the Almighty give Jenny and his family the strength to cope with this tragedy. He was such a warm and wonderful human being. His Yetiblogs have lit up our days for so many years. Rest in peace, Sam Kapasi.
