Im well aware of the Hummers featuring 4 doors but its not the same mechanism used by AutoArts and Kyoshos. I wasn't aware of the CLS by Maisto having 4 opening doors. The error is regretted.

Beem3r, I seen the 190E in person today and I must say its a stunning model. Also stunning is the price. At 3500 bucks, this model is simply out of my range now. Prices of Autoart models have gone through the roof. I don't think at this price range I will be ever able to afford another new Autoart. Looks like the beginning of an end of my hobby.

Adder come on man. Dont lose hope like that. I know AutoArt has raised prices to like a 100$. But dont stop collecting. You and Dippy got me really hooked on this. Anyway heres something to cheer you up.

I never wanted to collect Ferrari Scale models really hardcore cause I felt everyone would buy a Ferrari model even those who dont collect as a hobby. So I never found them special enough. Then I discovered the Kyosho Ferraris. I think I bought all the Kyosho Ferraris my dealer got in this segment. I cant take my eyes off of them.

1:18 BBR Ferrari Enzo Yellow
1:18 BBR Ferrari Enzo Orange with Graphite wheels.
1:18 Kyosho Ferrari 575 GTC Yellow
1:18 Kyosho Ferrari 365 GTB4 Competizione No.71

This Yellow BBR Enzo is a limited edition. Serial Number 599 ( like the Fiorano) of 1507 pieces. I couldnt have asked for a better serial number in this time and age.

This particular Orange Enzo is a replica of Michael Schumacher's personal Enzo, custom Orange and those wheels.

Ive got both #64 and #71 of the Competizione 365 GTB4s cause I love Daytonas. The GTC I wasn't too keen on but its growing on me.

The BBRs have been my most expensive model cars to date. Im feeling really bad about spending that much on them. But the detailing is ridiculous. Its got removable luggage in the trunk with tiny Ferrari emblems, removable wheels, carbon brakes, body made of actual carbon fibre and aluminium, opening fuel cap lid, the works. I need to spend a day photographing them. I didnt get the car cover that was included in the earlier BBR Enzos. Dont know how to source that.

Enjoy ! Especially you Adder.

Thanks for the pep talk Beem3r. That really pushed me to get myself a nice chevy impala, a fiat 500 abarth and 2 moto gp bikes.
While there are a few cars and bikes that I can get, there are also many that have been simply put out of my reach. There are mortgages to pay and children to be educated and in the whole scheme of things, a hobby such as this comes last. So I guess, as far as premium models go, I am done.

Now youre talking BEEMER. Now you too are hooked onto the Prancing Horse. They are very very beautiful. I have around 25 Ferraris myself. Now I know who to ask if I ever need another one

MERCEDES BENZ 600 LWB PULLMAN - AutoArt

Hi, not sure if any of you have come across this model.

Managed to pick it up at a store in dubai... it is a 1:18 MERCEDES BENZ 600 LWB PULLMAN by AutoArt... at first I was stuck for a choice between a 1:18 Rolls Royce Phantom and the Pullman, but the Pullman won over the RR. The RR looked impressive (same as in reality) but there was not much detail on the undercarriage and neither the doors, boot or bonnet was openable... and it cost nearly 2.5 times that of the Pullman.

Would appreciate the feedback. Thanks

AED 1250. Broke my finances a little. Bought it with my first salary. Will post some of my other scales in a bit.

Nice addition RPMPKDMFF. Now you must add the Maybach 62 to give it some company.
Also the RR Phantom is a resin model which explains the sealed doors, bonnet and boot. I have seen it in Gift Centre in Bombay. Its available in a variety of colors and is said to be a limited edition model. The black one looks excellent.

hi blackadder, I do concur that the RR looks spectacular, but the fact that there are very few details is what puts me off. It does look mighty impressive and casts it shadow on any other cars parked beside it - but details are absent. Let's see if the Spirit of Ecstasy commisions another more detailed version, would definitely pick it up. By the way, the resin model is quite weighty as well.
