Fiat 1100D is what you should search for. I remember getting it from one of the Mumbai based enterprises (automania.co.in) but this site now seems to be defunct. Also contact vicky.in people or dreamcarmodels.com, they may be able to help you.

Now that would be interesting. I have been on the lookout for RE models but have failed to find any.

Here is a snap of my collection. Just took them out to clean and polish. Please pardon the poor picture quality. Will post better snaps later. The Scale Model Thread-imageuploadedbyteambhp1450877822.586318.jpg

I doubt if it is available in India. I managed to get one (1:43) a few years back from Italy.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

I'm not really a model collector as such. I do buy car models occassionaly. I don't have a particular scale or types I collected. I more or less collect anything I fancy for whatever reason.

Here are some of my models. All the fire engines are from Signature Series. I had never heard of that brand before. But they are very nicely done, great detail and they were dirt cheap. I came across them in a little town somewhere in the USA when my wife and I were on one of our road trips. I bought every model they had. I recall they costed me less then $10,-- each! The also come in their own plastic display box which is perfect as it keeps the dust of them

This next one is a Corgi Limited Edition. We spend a lot of time in the UK as well and I know various little shops where they sell all sorts of models. Picked up a few last time I was there. These models are not cheap, in fact they are fairly expensive, but still very nice. About UKP 66. Scale 1:50. Interestingly enough there are still dozens of these steam tractors around and operating. During the summer there are endless steam fairs where they show up.

Next a 1:76 model from Oxford. I love these cranes. You can see the real deal in several UK military museums around the world. Not a hundred percent sure, but I believe I bought this particular model at the museum shop at Duxford, one of my all time favourite aviation museums. They have a full size crane just like this one on display too.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

I had one more I thought I would show as it is a bit of an unusual one. I have about 14 models of tractors. I like tractors for some reason. This particular one is a Porsche tractor!

A quick google search threw up these:

http://www.alldiecast.us/model_car_diecast?id=fiat_1100

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...=sr_1_2&sr=8-2

Amazon.co.uk ships to India, most of the time. You can try there too

Do I see an Amby and a Triumph Herald behind?

This is a lovely tractor. I saw some beautiful real life ones last week in Istanbul. Including some rare ones like the original Massey Ferguson, the Fordson, the Farmall, the Allgaier and so on.
And some wonderful scale models too in the Rahim Koc museum.
Amazing.
