I prefer my WagonR Engine Sound, and there is no such thing as 'knowing' how to drive fast!
And pray what do you do when you are stuck in city traffic? Keep redlining your Superb's engine on idle?!

Have just started on one disc. Love the song "busy being fabulous". There are plenty more where they came from. Really enjoying my long time favourite band.

Good set of artists mentioned, freak. Yes, I second your opinion on metal - I think it is overrated.

However, 'Doors' is one band I'd keep out of my list. Grateful Dead, The Who, Jethro Tull, Neil Diamond or artists/bands like them instead.
Nice set of artists there too mate! I love Doors would keep them there but as I see it I have a in the CD I made the following songs from The Who:

Behind Blue Eyes
Boris the Spider
and Baba O'Reily

Neil Diamond - Girl you will be a woman soon (isn't it the quintessential Diamond)

Jethro Tull - Thick as a brick

Grateful Deads - El Paso and one more I have!

Lovely songs all of the above. El Paso remains one of the most tragic romanitc songs I have heard!

Nice tracks mentioned there!

Yes, even I have it in the essential collection. Some more Neil Diamond songs that you may like:

Cracklin' Rosie
Forever In Blue Jeans
Red Red Wine
..... Many more

I like listening to 'The Best Of Chuck Berry'. He is sometimes referred to as one of the best rock 'n roll artists. Typical 50s and 60s stuff - fun to listen to.

I can go on and on, but I'll be too damn OT.

Would you believe it??? I've just got myself a whole lot of Chuck Berry's songs and by god am I rocking and rolling (and driving). Love that 'Ding-a-ling ' number!

lol. I agree. The live version is damn funny. Some other tracks by Chuck Berry that I like:

1. No particular place to go.

Which goes like.....

"... Ridin' along in my automobile
My baby beside me at the wheel
I stole a kiss at the turn of a mile
My curiosity runnin' wild

Cruisin' and playin' the radio
With no particular place to go....."

Great lyrics for a drive.

2. Nadine (Is it you?)
3. You never can tell
