I keep hearing to - Fast and Furious - Tokyo Drift - Theme song and Speed Part 1 - Theme Song .

I believe the vehicle speed increases or decreases for me depending on the songs and I select the songs accordingly for the Journey.

FM Radio

I generally stick to radio, esp in the night. All old songs and the surprise element is good to end that long day. Moreover, traffic updates have saved me at least 3-4 times from Jams.

On highways, its Brian Adams, Backstreet boys, The Moffats and George Michael. Can't leave college days behind .

My current fav driving songs list:

She-Wolf, Symphony of destruction - Megadeth
Wherever I may roam, Turn the page - Metallica
Highway to hell, Back in black - AC/DC

My idea of music while driving is full volume blast with windows rolled down.!
For sedate driving, I prefer the hindi songs on radio.

For me Steve wonder and Enigma when I am in good mood and some time modern taking will also do. When I am really in bad mood then devotional sons by Gantasala and good old songs.

At the moment, a few of my favourites while driving are:

1. Tool: Lateralus
2. Sufjan Stevens: Majesty snowbird, & Upper Peninsula
3. AR Rahman: Dhakka Laga Bukka (from the film Yuva)
4. Gojira: Art of Dying
5. Pink Floyd: Great Gig in the Sky (especially when im driving alone late in the night!)
6. NiN: Ghosts IV (the entire album)

Oh how I love this music!
Very nice. My choice would also be more or less the same, except for the Stevens and the Rehman. I'll probably replace this with The Mars Volta and The Pineapple Thief or Porcupine Tree.

Have you guys heard this song 'On Days Like These' by Matt Monroe. It's the most beautiful song ever! The song is played at the beginning of the original Italian Job when the orange Miura is being driven hard around the Swiss alps and then crashes at the end of the tunnel!
