Was just wondering how I missed this thread all the while! So here goes - for me it really depends on the kind of driving.

Within the city, I prefer light and relaxing music to beat the traffic stress. so this usually vaies from santoor from Pt. Sharma to Carnatic classical and the radio as well

On the highway, some of my all time fav groups i love listening to are:
- floyd, the doors, tracy chapman, satriani, mr. big, collective soul, the police, dire staits, mark knopfler, linkin park, alanis morissette, metallica, spuertramp
- dil chahta hai, rang de basanti, roja, rock on, infact mostly rahman composed tracks!

tracks i love the most and listen often (in no order though):
- gel (collective soul)
- sultans of swing, heavy fuel (knopfler)
- high hopes, coming back to life, wish u were here .. man this list can go on n on
- fast car
- motorcycle rider, rubina's blue sky happiness .. long list here as well! (satriani)
- lemon tree
- american pie
- wild world, green tinted sixties

I listen only on IPOD NANO / Sony Ericssion C 501. My top three are X Files Theme Music, Aap Jaise Koi (from the film quarbani) music only, Aaj re Dil ki pyas (Noorie remix by Bally Sagoo) and Kya Khoob Laag thi Ho (From Dharmathama).
