Until the 70s, the movie theatres used to play national anthem at the end of movie. The practice was stopped after people started walking out instead of paying due respect.

Bow Barracks Forever

i watched the movie Bow Barracks Forever - by Anjan Dutta. the movie is based on the lives of the Anglo-Indian in Kolkata. the movie stresses on the lives of five families residing @ Barrack Building (a heritage building - belonging to the American Garrison) at Bowbazar, Calcutta. the movie is 'A' rated - so dont take your kids along.

i dunno whether the movie will release in other states/cities - but its a nice movie.

OT - Anyone tried booking tickets through Welcome to BookMyShow ? They have an inaugural discount of 25% going on. The process seems pretty simple. Check it out.

Pray that she is Preeti Sabharwal. Man she is hot .

Watched Rush Hour 3, it is more of a comedy then action. Chris Tucker is hilarious.

I watched The Bourne Ultimatum yesterday. Good movie, but IMHO it can't hold a candle to Identity or Supremacy.

The car/foot/scooter etc. chases towards the second half of the movie were tooooooo long, and unlike the first two, there were too many uhhh... "coincidences" in the movie, just to help the story/plot along. After a while it fell into uhhh... formulaic stuff. A chase sequence (on scooter, then on foot) in Morocco seemed to take sooooo long, I was relieved when the actual action started.

After the first 20-30 minutes or so, it began to look like they planned on a few action sequences first, and then stitched them together with a story that agrees with the basic premise of Bourne and goes with thread of the earlier movies.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great movie -- I'm just saying the movie did not seem as good to me as the first two movies in the Bourne Series.

There is a particular sequence in the first 20 minutes of the movie that ended in a train station that was really gripping. As before the actual fight sequences are simply great -- short and really brutal.

This will be a popular movie with the masses, but I think the Bourne fans will be less than satisfied.

Transformers - Mind numbing special effects. A nice action flick for all you action fans. Good watch. Might go again. Great looking cars too.
