Guys, please watch it. It is a damn good serial! A mix of dark humor and drama set in a woman's federal prison narrating the events through a convict's life as she serves her sentence there. The characters in the serial (inmates mostly) are brilliant! 95% ladies and the remaining men but pretty awesome.

And please do not judge the serial by the first 10 minutes of the episode! Sit through the first three episodes and see if suits you.

The kickass opening credits song:

Technocrat, that was quick! But expected knowing how intense SoA can get during the later seasons. Can I urge you to pick up Banshee please? It aired in Cinemax so should be available on Netflix. If you like hardcore no-nonsense action, this is the serial for you. The hand-to-hand fight sequences are so realistically choreographed, you are going to love this! Only one season has aired so far and the next one premieres on January 10th.

Internet was down at our place yesterday so Sherlock S3 has to wait until the weekend.

If you have AXN as part of your cable bundle, you can watch it tonight at 10PM.

Unfortunately, we do not have a DTH service at our place right now. We have a TV but for playing games and watching movies/serials over USB.

During important sports events (like the upcoming Fifa WC), we stream the content over internet and connect the laptop to the TV via HDMI.

Watched the 1st episode yesterday. Too many things happening and it all seems very disjointed . Hope the second episode is better and brings it all together.

I think you didn't paid proper attention while watching as everything was quite clear. I could explain but as no spoilers allowed so wont.
I believe the complete series will be associated with the one single problem they had highlighted in first episode.
Waiting for sunday is looking so long now.

I will wait for the season to end, and then watch it at one go.

How many episodes are planned in S3 ?

A pleasant surprise when I got home today. The newest episode of Downton Abbey has reached from Amazon UK. Christmas Special 2013. Telecast on 25 Dec 2013. Shipped on 26 Dec 2013.

Never once I felt anything disjointed. Since the major part of the episode centered around Sherlock's return from death, they had very less time out of the 90 minutes episode to focus on the particular case.
But yeah, Season 2 premiere episode was better than this one. We will have to wait for other two episodes to see how this season goes.

Three episodes. Second will air on 5th Jan and the finale on 12th Jan.

I would highly recommend going for Game of Thrones if you havent watched it.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944947/?ref_=nv_sr_1

I would personally rate it a 10/10. Also, definitely not for family viewing

Watched Sherlock S3E1 yesterday night - simply amazing.

BTW, for anyone yet to watch it, do watch the "Many happy returns" preview before watching S3E1.

Lucky you! btw, has the series come to a conclusion, or will there be a season 5?
