Muscle car sketches & Auto Art

hi all, havnt been on here for ages but thought i would share a few of my car sketches iv been doing lately, i usually only draw portraits but i was getting bored of that so thought i would try my hand at drawing cars. these are my first attempts so they aint great but i thought i would post them here and see what kind of feedback i get, see if its worth me continuing cars or should i give it up and go back to faces.

mustang gt500 (elanor)

chevy chevelle 1972 i think

71 olds cutlass 442

plymouth fury 1958 i think

and this one i drew just for fun, started out with a 69 charger and set about modifying it, flared the wheel arches, lowered the roof, rounded of the back end and gave it a big tribal grafic. i know the wheels realistically wouldnt fit, it was a mistake but by the time i realised it was too late.

well lemme know what you think.

Hello @tin23uk:
Are you from Crescent Springs, KY?

What is your ride?

Loved your sketches. Fantastic attention to detail. Really appreciate the way you handle the curves – the alpha blending, the chrome and the specular reflections in the headlights. Very advanced sketching, I must say.
Do you use charcoal pencil?
Do you sketch in color too?

The ’58 Plymouth Fury’s an absolute beaut. You even have the screws that hold the headlamp bezel and the speakers on the rear parcel shelf.

Would you care to tell us a little about what you do, your interests, etc.

These are some terrific drawings! Love the detailing and shading that give it an almost real look.

Superb...

@::tin23uk
WOW is all i can say...I guess even the most complex drawings in my bio practicals were not as neat in details as this one......even without pointers pointing out to differnt parts the sketches speak for themselves... Awesome work buddy. Keep them going....

tin23uk the drawings are simply mind blowing. great attention to details i must say. you surely could make a business out of this and you do have a client if you do decide to make it a business from a hobby. i think you should continue drawing cars and as ishan pointed out please could we have some high resolution pictures with your signature below to use as wallpapers. keep up the great work and i hope alot more will follow.
