HO of a mfg company.

Leave home at 8.30 AM by bike, take a small detour before office to drop wife at her work place, arrive office at 8.55 AM. Distance 14 KM.

Leave office at 5.40 PM. No detour this time, pick up wife on the way where she will be waiting, arrive home by 6.10 PM. Distance 13 KM.

Add 10 minutes each way on the days when we go by car.

Yup. In office i only do donkeys work of feeding in data, cutting-cropping images etc which requires zero creativity.

Then i take all these files home and sit again at 12am-3am.

Mumbai to Navi Mumbai in the mornings - 2 scenarios

1) If I leave at 0845 - I am in office by 0920

2) If I leave at 0850 - I reach office by 0935

In the evening it takes me 35 minutes, door to door delivery

irrespective of the time I leave.

But since roads in Airoli have been dug up for concretisation - I am going to have a hard time.

The rest of the days, it depends according to the place and time we are bunking

Start for office: 9.30 AM by office bus. Reach at around 10.45 AM. The office ride takes LBS marg not eastern express highway.
Leave office at around 8.30 PM. Reach home (Thane) at around 9.55 PM.

Profession: IT (systems support)
Leave home at about 8:45 for a 9 am start (office is just 1.8 kms from home)
Knock off at 5 or little earlier reach home in about 8-10 minutes.

My office is out of city so when all the roads are choc-a-block with traffic moving towards the city, I get very less traffic on road heading to the opposite direction and vice versa in the evening.

Its just the two traffic lights on the way that decide should I reach in 8 mins or 10 mins

Bengaluru. IT. Got my timings changed since last year to 7AM - 3 PM (8AM - 4 PM off Daylight savings). No Traffic and lots of peace. Takes 5 minutes to office and 10 minutes on the way back. Peak hour, rush hour ? Whats that ?
