Thank you all for the appreciation. Dear anupmathur I went there in 1st week of dec, and people that they receive snowfall in dec end and jan. That's why no snow.

Hatu Peak is a very beautiful place. We planned to stay 2 days at hatu peak but we liked is so much that we stayed 5 nights there. It's untouched , natural beauty. We spend our whole day on and on the way to hatu peak and even we went to hatu peak at 2 am night. It was really very cold and the speed of the wind was mindblowing.Road to hatu peak is just enough broad for safari. Most of the places even a cyclist cannot pass by our vehicle. But it is paved.

Aman, yes, 1st week, Dec is a bit too early. I didn't know the dates.
Now, well into Feb, there has still not been good snowfall across wide swathes of the Himalayas!

The country is heading for tough times!

You are right anupmathur , this year Himachal Pardesh has not received enough snowfall as compared to last year. Last year I saw 3 feet of snowfall around 8th jan, and this year it was dry till yesterday.But yesterday Manali has received heavy snowfall.
