That's a LOT of RDX. Thankfully it's been found. If it would have been used, the casualty count would definitely be ten times more.

hope all bhpians in mumbai are safe an sound!

it is really tragic news. Hope all the team-bhp members from mumbai are safe and fine.
My heart goes out to brave officers who have laid down there lives especially for Mr. Hemant Karkare who was till yesterday was doing his duty and went to heaven doing that, and our politicians stooped so low accusing him and putting roadblocks in investigations.
This is what happens when you tie the hands of people who do there duty.
i sincerely hope the people accusing this guy should have been there to have first hand account of what terrorism is and how it is above communalism.
May be one day our democracy will mature and we will have people who will give us good governace and put systems in place. As of now we are chosing Kings and are acting like there slaves.

Its possible to do anything. Am not suprised by the amount of ammunition that these gunmen have brought into mumbai.
It was said that the found 2 boats loaded with ammunition off the coast.

time to do that. these guys need to be simply killed, no trials no court visits- just aim and kill. I heard they had meat* pasted on bus roofs in Israel so that no fidayeen tried to do a attack.
the only way i am able to see news on India is through IBN and NDTV websites, and last one month the whole focus seemd to be on Sadhvis and saadhus...forgetting that along with them there are more threats.

I left from Churchgate yesterday at 10.15pm and things seemed normal. At fashion street, we were directed to take the route via Metro cinema where there was a major naka bandi with every taxi and MUV was being checked thoroughly. Got stuck there for a while, even I was stopped by one cop who asked me where I was coming from and where I was headed to. Entire road outside VT/CST was closed and I had to take the road under the J J Flyover. Got stuck in nakabandi's after J J flyover, parel, Dadar and Chembur. Reached home at 12.30 AM!

At fashion street, I had 100.7FM playing in my car and the news started. All that was being discussed was about elections and cricket! All this made me feel like it was just routine and normal nakabandi's going on. Why can't the government ensure news reaches people fast and clear? Ultimately, nearing Parel, I heard on Radio Mirchi that terror attacks had happened.

I have always maintained that the Parliament attack should have been successfull. Maybe then the politicians would have known what the common face faces.

Ps: Did anyone see the news flash late at night that the cops have advised all ministers to stay indoors?

There are no words to describe this - its like watching a movie, only its actually happening

Guys, take care & don't venture out unless its an emergency.

Sheesh, what a terrible shame. What's happening to this country man, where & when is it all going to end? I know I'm going to be sounding barbaric but - slow death for any of the terrorists whom they manage to take alive.

Its disheartning to see my city in flames; hats off to all the cops who laid their lifes in the line of duty. Unfortunate to see so many people in Mumbai loose their life for no reason.

Hope all Mumbai TBHP members are safe and sound

At least the govt was not sitting down and negotiating with the terrorists. They attacked and killed - at this time - most of the vermin.

Take Care the People of Bombay. The Mumbaikars have always shown exemplary resilience in times of crisis.

I second that. Maybe a that could have made us responsible citizens and leaders. But on second thought, terrorist attacks on our prime ministaers and former prime ministers merely made corporators in my city travel in escorted platoons causing inconvenience to others.

I have moved to office from Santacruz - East to Malad, MindSpace at about 930am.

Scanty traffic, police vans at every 200m on the W.E.H and a general loom of shock & fear has certainly engulfed this city this morning.

After 12 hours of unbelievable violence - we're still waiting for this to finally STOP.

Let's PRAY for those who lost their lives & let's light a candle of HOPE for those who's confidence will need some major boost-up hereon.

Regards

i read somewhere that if terrorists had got into the parliament and taken hostage M.P's they would have traded them for Kashmir.
And trust me thick skin of spineless neta's of our country are immune to all this.
Other day Our great Home Minister is saying on National T.V that terrorist can attack with nuclear weapons and and chemical weapons on our country.
Man he was so casualy reading the text that if it was not nuclear bomb but a toy bomb he is talking about.

This guy did not for one second understand that he is passing information to this one billion population. I mean thank god our information system is not that strong or we over the years have started taking these guys non seriously other wise a vigilant population would have have definitely done a mass uprising over these comments

Had it been population of Israel or Russia they would have gheroed him and made him tell on national television what is he doing to protect them.

These politicians should thank uneducated Below poverty line people of india for whom life is no good then death. and we middle class people dont come out and over the years have started taking there comments as jokes.
God help us!
