I've got pest control done at my home from PCI and it was a good experience, both times.

PS: This was Delhi, and was against regular pests like ants and termite. No mould involved.

The other option is to check on urban company and choose someone with good ratings.

Re: Pest Control options for Homes

Could someone help identify this insect? Found a bunch of these moving around freely on the outside walls of a house, next to the door frame. Upon crushing one, something red oozed out; so did a smell resembling that of a stink bug.

Are these baby bed bugs?

Re: Pest Control options for Homes

I have a severe monkey menace where I stay. The regular pigeon nets are too weak, they don't suffice to handle monkeys.

I have heard there are monkey nets available as well, but I have not come across folks that install those. Any idea?

Also, the small roaches all over the kitchen are driving me nuts. A good pest control recommendation would really help.

Boric Acid works really well for roaches but is not an instant solution. Trick is to spread the boric acid at places the roaches frequent and let it be - the nest gets wiped out and no roach problem ever! If you observe some after a few months/years, just repeat.

I have used this when I moved into my home 5 years ago and after first time, had only to repeat once when I saw a few roaches moving about.

Just ensure that Boric acid doesnt get ingested - it is relatively safe (carrom board powder that we used during childhood)

I control this by 3 techniques:

1. First use Hit Gel in kitchen, especially around the kitchen sink, drain and dustbin.

2. After a couple of days, I use instant pest killer spray like NOP or Hit.

3. Try to keep the kitchen sink leftover food free & empty the dustbin before going to sleep at night.

Recently went through the above steps after a serious roach infestation and thankfully, it has reduced by 99% in just 3 days.

Trust that helps.
